Do consider that this will invalidate your warranty.

I think Chris has covered this in the Sharkwerks post. If the problem is caused by the exhaust then yes it would invalidate the warranty, and I think I would need to discuss with the OPC as some seem more sympathetic than others to bits being changed Maybe mine will be more forgiving as they are mucking me around (fat chance!). I know it's a risk and I'll have to weigh that up at the time. I know that if I want to renew the warranty it would have to go back to standard.

Ugh, cruel - hope they sort it out pronto.

Still no date on a pick up as the OPC is having issues not having the V5 back from Swansea. Hoping for a collection this weeknd but not guaranteed yet. Genuinely frustrated as I currently have the time to drive it and that won't last.

Well Guys, Friday was the happy day and I finally collected my GTS.

As I was waiting so long I decided to get Justin at Exclusive Car Care to detail the car. He visited it at the OPC showroom and we agreed a 2-stage polish and to then finish it with Gtechnic Crystal Seurm for a long lasting shine. He did a fantastic job and all I can say is WOW the car looks better than new. No swirls on the paint and a flawless finish with some seriously gleaming wheels.

200 miles in so far and I'm loving it. The manual gearbox change is so crisp and the engine so free revving.

The car seems slower with PSE switched on, but maybe thats just me? Anyway a few more runs and I'll hopefully know more about this. Does anyone else with PSE have any thoughts or comments?

Anyway, spec and the all important pictures.

White GTS 2011, 4,800 miles
Carbon Fibre backed bucket seats
Sports Short Shift
Sports chrono plus
Colour coded side skirts and front/rear splitters
Clear tail lights
Auto dimming rear view mirrors with rain sensor
Parking sensors
Rear seats (daughter is very happy already after not being able to travel in my Cayman)
Extended leather to dash and doors and extended alcantara
Porsche logo on storage lid
PCM 3 (with full postcode upgrade)
Bose
Bluetooth
iPod/Aux connectivity
Grey top tint
Full 4-year service and 2 years Porsche warranty.

One thing I dislike generally are the chrome headlight washers.

I've just bought some new covers from Porsche. They're only about £15 each and come finished in primer. Had them back from the paint shop on Friday (a freebie!), and will fit them this week sometime. A very cheap update.

Did mine in Carrara to match the body but gloss black would suit it too - even more so on yours with the black wheels.

Just a thought smile

Hi Gary - that's interesting and the first response from anyone on and off the forum to this question. Were there any other symptoms that pointed to checking the variocam?

Painted washers are a £138 option on the configurator!!! You've done exceptionally well at £30

Yes, they're a silly price. Just fit them, took all of 5 minutes. I know it's barely noticeable but the chrome just didn't work for me.

TBH chrome hadn't really bothered me but maybe it will do now!! Look good in white but I can't see me making the change.
