Show your dealer the price you can get them for and ask if they can get near it - worth a try - my dealer has suggested I do this when I need new tyres

They need the business!

Mine recently fitted new rear Bridgestone Pots to a Carrera GTS for £40 inclusive! The car had no other work done at the time and the tyres were supplied and delivered directly to the OPC by Oponeo. Great service btw.
Wow - totally unexpected!

Went for a blast last night and took a mate who's been a friend since we were 6 and has grown up with my driving. He's always been comfortable with it, regardless of how fast I go, including my 440bhp TT RS that I had. He'd been out during the running in period but hasn't really experienced what the GT3 had to offer.

In short, he couldn't handle it. Couldn't understand how it was possible for a car to go that fast and for the first time in all those years of driving asked me to slow down.

Result biggrin

Recently there was a CS Mexico blue for sale from OPC Bournmouth. It was on SOR at £180k. I'd phoned about it but decided not to pay the £35k extra to swap mine for it.

Thought I recognised the car/photo thats all from something Paul shared a little while ago! Looks good, and good to see you're tracking it!

Hi Matt,

Are you also part of Club Mulholland? There are a few of us with GT3s in the club, not sure which pic Paul sent out. Mine is white, I haven't had a chance to track mine yet but will definitely do one at Spa on the coming European Tour

No I wish! Im only 21, little way off their target market just yet!

I was referring to the Silver one shared above looked like a silver one Paul shared! Unless you are who I think you are, and have recently married and had a little one Zaki? biggrin And therefore I do know of your GT3 (991) biggrin

That RS looks odd without the name in black....

Also is yours Voodoo blue?

Got mine on 2nd Jan'15, stunning car, can't believe how much it's moved the game on. Changed the oil at 1,200 mls, before i
started using all the revs. The last 500 rpm does sound mental. After studying the power and torque curves from the brochure,
i now use no more than 8,500. Now with the RS having a lower redline, has to be the best for the longevity of the motor.
These cars produce there maximum power at 8.250, and the power really falls away from 8,500 to 9.000. Plus the fact the last
500 rpm does sound like it could explode. Interesting fact that Walter rarely goes over 8,000.

Totally agree with you. I made the very same point on another post.

Hi all
just jumping in here, as I've just got a 991 GT3
good spec (for me..)
Clubsport package
PCCB
Front lift
few other bits & bobs

loving it so far - had a 996.1 GT3 CS a few years ago - I'm surprised by how much it reminds me of this in its character;

Need to find a suitable track day now smile

Got mine today after a bloody long wait but I have to say it was well worth it, add this one to the numbers people.

Just got to wait now and get it registered. Thinking of waiting till the 1st of September.

Driving it back it didn't take long till I had some company.

A few checks later and we was back on our way (45 minutes)

Carl

I saw you and the Volcano Orange RS @ OPC Reading last weekend.

The RS is just so aggressive- the extra width makes the 991 look more square and smaller as a result.
Perfectly proportioned. Lovely.
