The price war may just be starting to due to the numbers currently available
Great value ? Not really : remember it's a only a base spec car with front lift only - prob specs out at £k 103 - a top spec car like mine would start life at > £k 120 - now one of those at < £K 150 ( like mine if anyone's interested ) would be great value ! smile
I never said it was great value, I was imply the dealer had recently reduced his sale price!

Some of these cars seem very low spec, I'm guessing these are the cars which have been bought by the people looking to flip as quick as they can with the aim of making a quick buck.

Or maybe by people who drive the car rather than listen to upgraded music, play with their sat nav, warm their bum, and cruise along admiring their leather lined armchairs with deviant stitching??

hehe
Had a friend jump in my RS the other day; he has a lovely fully loaded, every option ticked Boxster S (ex-Porsche demo) and his first words were "it's a bit plasticky and basic", with this 'how could you sit in this 5h1tbox look on his face.' My time would have be wasted trying to explain to him wink

I agree most do look like st box's in side ;-(

£150k and no leather is a bit mental, lets face it you have to sit in it and look at it.
Plastic fantastic looks crap and feels low rent.

Not heard about any engine swaps after the 1st lot, have you?

As cars pile on high track mileage, some gremlins could appear, but you would expect Porsche to have sorted this after the stop notice.

Doesn't make sense to me, if you are looking for a drivers car just add CS plus front lift.

Can't see why you would configure a new gt3 to be so bland inside.

Because what a GT3 is suppose to be about is performance and handling and the last time I looked a leather dashboard didn't add anything to either of those.

I know, I know - I'm a dinosaur!

God forbid somebody enjoy driving the car as intended and using it on track. How dare they not worry about the length of their option list.

The quality and value are in the design and engineering of the base car. Everything bar the cage and seats are huge profit inducing trinkets imho.

You continue to surmise on matters you have no idea about, to those who generally ignore your ramblings.

Even Hinge & Brackett have more idea....

Robbo please explain a little more?

I have always enjoyed specifying my cars, it's part of the whole process when ordering a new.

Why anyone would order a new gt3 and make no effort on spec is beyond me.

My spec was simple (CS plus front lift) before I stupidly baulked over the engine fiasco.
Less is more IMO - for a GT3 anyway.
Hoping to repeat second time around wink
