Lets be honest, it's been but up for auction due to the high number already for sale and these have sat unsold for months.
Errrr.... Or its probably because...

"Car is Grade 4....poor overall condition badly stone chipped numerous panels with poor quality previous repairs to front and rear"

BCA are generally very aggressive on their appraisals. All 991 pick up stone chips on the front bumper and both rear quarters. Considering it has done 5000 miles I think that is expected. Only real world inspection would tell the truth.

This car could sell between 110k and 115k, be shocked if a dealer buys it.
scratchchin

Shock horror........car dealer buys car from car auction.....a world first.......hehe
I was imply I would be shocked if a dealer does buy it, due to the fact the market is flooded and they are not selling that well at the moment!
Yes, and I did read av185 saying that it could sell for 25. Or was it 200 ?? Lol.

My local OPC told me that any used 991GT3 sold by a non OPC dealer loses its warranty extension.
The standard 2 years from new remains.
Private to private sales and the extension is transferable.
I might be wrong, but since this car is still under original manufacturers warranty, then the warranty extension exclusion does not apply.

I wonder why he will miss HER soo much when he doesn't drive her. Probably will simply miss spending his evenings in the garage with a lot of tissues rofl

why you getting a GT4 and a Spyder also even though you wanted PDK !

just looks like a money making thing to me
Interesting observation!
Yes, makes sense now. He is acting as a part-time trader and attempting (and not very well) to ramp prices.

I did indeed study acting at RADA.....

You and your sidekick were the ones drooling over the red GT3 at British Car Auctions. So by your logic you MUST be trade buyers.....yes

I guess we have now worked out why AV185 has been watching / ramping this value thread so closely.

Porsche's GT market has a new bread of owner, they are in it for the profit.

This is why we have 50 plus 991 GT3 cars for sale on piston heads alone.

Most with very low miles and plenty of owners.

Or am I totally wrong and they are all for sale because the are crap cars! (Which we all know they are not)
That's spot on. These new breed of owners aren't really into the marque, they are just speculators. They don't even drive the cars! These are exactly the type of people OPCs should be blacklisting.

It is why you have an excess of supply of 991 GT3s, and why I think you will have the same with the GT4, which is far more accessible for more speculators.

Looks like the armchair GT3 tyrekicking wannabes had better act fast scratchchin before prices rise again......hehe
Romans have just dropped the price of their long standing White GT3 for the third time. You must know something they don't - I assume you'll be buying it for investment purposes!?

On a side note: as a previous GT3 owner, a correction in prices of these cars is a good thing: they are the most driver focused of the 911 range and it's a shame to see so many of these wonderful machines turning into investments rather than charging around tracks/road trips. Hopefully the price normalisation (which is clearly happening but some are in denial about) will mean these come back into enthuasists' hands and are being driven as intended. :-)
They have had that car for near 5 months. They bought it just as prices were being apolled1. Pretty sure the car owes them near 130k. Still £10k too high.

Most recent sales have been CS ... Comforts are not doing well.

Apart from the black privately advertised comfort which sold instantly last week at good money........hehe
Yes but had to be sold at substantial discount to CS spec. I don't know why anyone really would want a Comfort. Turbos are best as a comfort car.

With your obvious unrivalled knowledge of the brand, have you not been headhunted by Porsche R and D? biggrin:

Too busy buying GT3s.......
Doubt it, his work is done -strong hands passed on to weak hands. Limbering up to ramp up the 991RS/GT4.
he better start preaching, and preaching good !!!

Another engine casualty? Those "overs" will drop fast smile

Out of interest Mr D.......do you include yourself in your above statement?

It appears you are ordering a car you have no intention of using and as another poster has mentioned, you are now finding faults with the car to justify your flipping intentions. Meantime the Cayman R sits in your garage. Really........how could you?

BTW my GT4 is another keeper and will be used over the winter.......driving
SO a GT4 with CUP 2 on to use over winter !! odd !
As Throt quite rightly points out.......why is it odd?? fk me......one minute you criticise me for allegedly not using a car I 've done over 2k miles in.....the next minute for using a car all year round. Very odd indeed!!

So I repeat....... have you flipped your GT4 for a vast profit as you intended?
Still evading everyone else's questions though ... So I repeat ...How many miles did you do since Feb in the 991? And what was that track day you say you attended ?

Although I suppose we are all waiting with baited breath from 'Radders' previous post regarding the 5 cars sold this week.....biggrin:

....tumbleweed
For those that don't know Radders - he has been very active in trying to source a CS spec model and he has finally done so - but it took him a lot of searching and contacting many dealers and the ones that looked value that are for sale on PH, etc had all been sold before he could buy them.

Just don't expect him to post on here the details of every car/ dealer he contacted as he probably has better things to do with his time smile

For those interested - there will be loads of 991GT3s on track at Silverstone on the 18th August - just a shame I'm on holiday or I'd have been there too smile - but looking forward to the reports from a good number of new owners and their thoughts from this day
Interesting.

Thanks for letting us know.
Are you going to take the train up and watch ! Lol.
