Yes, theres one thing for sure....and thats the amount of bullst being spouted.....
As for the JZM car....2013 model, 2 owners no leather and lowly spec c £105k otr. Still, £32k profit isn't that bad. Minus sale commision/fees of course....:

what do you think is the key point.
It's not a high spec car, but a ok spec CS at £110k list with some main items.
what will overs be in 3 months ? £15k ?
Wouldn't you generally expect the market for any GT3 to be reduced in October as we move into winter and then increase in March as spring approaches? It's not a high spec car, but a ok spec CS at £110k list with some main items.

I have no idea on this deal - however , based on real world recent experience , that is highly , highly unlikely - at best £K 4 at worst £K 10 .
£4k margin between bid and offer to buy a car that is potentially depreciating at an uncertain rate at a point where there are quite a high proportion of that model for sale - that is an exceptionally good deal and perhaps not representative of the general market for this caliber of car? Ps Please give me the details of that dealer I'll sell through them next time! The last GT3 I sold had a £15-20k spread. That was the best of 4 bids to takethe car - OPc and Indies - car was a 997.2 RS at a time when they were rising. That was an outright purchase.

I can see that on an outright purchase - but SOR costs way lower as the risk is with the customer not the dealer The last GT3 I sold had a £15-20k spread. That was the best of 4 bids to takethe car - OPc and Indies - car was a 997.2 RS at a time when they were rising. That was an outright purchase.

Why do you need something like lift that adds 12 kgs ? Could you not just treat the lip spoiler as a consumable, I estimate you'd replace it 10 times for the cost of the lift? That said, on my 7.1 GT3 and my 7.2 RS I did not have lift but I've specced it on my 991 RS. Maybe I'm going mad but I'd like to understand why I am !
Not needed lift on my GT3/2's to date so haven't optioned it on 991 RS (and front ramp angles are similar). Saves 7 kgs across front end and adding complexity. Still debating over PCM as it means having "sound package plus" too. Do I really need/want 9 speakers in an RS?!ThirtySomething said:
I think considering where JZM is offering his white comfort at 136k, most people can smell the bullst. True facts, lol, let people make up their own minds.
Anyway, interesting to hear that on other threads that there continues to be reports of engine troubles. 8 engines replacements on one car alone! On the German threads there seems considerable worry about the reliability of the 991 engine, especially on the track.
How many here will want to own one when the warranty expires ?? As I said, this car will only be remembered for engine issues and price manipulation.
Just to clarify, it was 8 engines over their fleet of RENTAL 991 GT3s.Anyway, interesting to hear that on other threads that there continues to be reports of engine troubles. 8 engines replacements on one car alone! Cause wasn't mentioned. These cars are obviously driven hard by people who may not care about leathering them from cold.
The interesting point is that he said over the years of having 997 GT3s, they only ever had 1 issue.
Although Apolo hasn't heard about it, so it can't be true...

.....when can we please move on?......
You can move on now if you like. Nobody is stopping you as far as I'm aware. Owners need not visit this thread, they should be busy enjoying their fine car. Unless they plan to become ex-owners at some stage soon.

So he's heard about it, but not willing to divulge? To be fair, it's not the fact they've had failures, Porsche have changed them under warranty (which is good of them), if a company looks after their customer, what's wrong with letting people know?
eg, "My engine let go, Porsche changed it - result!"

Happy to admit when I'm wrong, but in my defence, it was the kind of thing you might have said!
