Never dealt with Cardiff but have been a customer of the group for 20 years. At least I was until they offered me a 12 month old 991 GT3 for 50k over list as a favour. Now an ex customer.
As a "favour" ha that's good of them. In a year or 2 when prices fall they might realise what aholess they where.165k ….i wont be parting with my dosh until i find a sensible priced one for sale and that will mean i have to wait …and there is no way in hell that im gunna again visit cardiff opc and be met by a poker faced tw*t salesman offerin me a the deal of the century….?…do they really think that all punters are complete fools???

As the market appears to be on the change I thought I would enquire about this car.
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p...
I sent an enquiry in to the garage asking them to run some finance figures based on a 60k cash deposit, 7k miles per year, over 4 years with a guaranteed future value payment at the end.
They came back with a rate of 9.2%
This high rate didn't shock me from a opc. In the past I have used Lombard at a rate of around 6%.
What did shock me was Porsches guaranteed future value after 4 years of only £41k. I was expecting this to be a lot higher.
Was I mad to think this?
The original list price of this car was apparently £114k
Can I have peoples genuine opinion on this please?
They have just dropped this by 5k, cheapest RHD cs out there. http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p...

Looks like several OPC cars have sold.....this could be the time for the 'big talkers' and doom mongers to pounce...:
LOL you are having a laugh, A large % of cars are SOR even at the OPC,(OPC will NOT buys cars atm) They are NOT selling, just a couple of owners having them back to drive I would say.To see what's selling look at cars the OPC's OWN !!! ie the car which is now £135k and a really nice spec imo at Solihul , they own that one, they want it SOLD !
OPC are now driving the market with owned cars as they need them OFF the books after 3 months , some of these cars are now at a loss, better a £5k loss this month than a £10k loss next month !!
the one's still bigger money are SOR cars by dreamers still trying to cash in on a market which has long gone.

I agree there are a proportion of customer OPC cars on SOR, but many £150k + cars are OPC owned......like the two that recently sold at OPC Leeds with APs in £150s.
Remember....timing the market is very difficult....as 458 buyers know full well to their cost.
Also.....don't attempt to talk the market down too much for GT3s ......or it may' bite you in the butt' by hammering GT4 residuals......
