Also.....don't attempt to talk the market down too much for GT3s ......or it may' bite you in the butt' by hammering GT4 residuals......
no one is talking prices down, we are following prices as they drop.yes it could have an effect on GT4 values, but I would be happy with using the car for free for a year, there will still be £40k(real life more like £55k gap) between values min imo and some people just want to own a manual GT car.
Even adding £10k of kit the GT4 at £75k seems great value while some of the GT3's sit at double that atm.
I think £129k is a fair price for a nice spec 991 GT3 with crap specs maybe starting @ £119k ie the cheap JZM car now looks very expensive in that spec when you look at the leeds car at £139 with lift and PCCB's.

lol asking £300k and selling for £300k is another story
some one can have my GT4 for £150k if they like, is that now the new price ;-)
For a number of reasons a Cayman clearly has a far lower 'ceiling price' relative to a 911......especially an RS.some one can have my GT4 for £150k if they like, is that now the new price ;-)
OPCs were predicting RS at £250k + a year ago so £300k AP not unreasonable bearing in mind how talented the car is and having regard to Speciale premiums.

Across Pistonheads, OPC website and A***trader, excluding duplicates and wanted adverts, we now have 50 (yes, F I F T Y) cars available.
Cheapest car now at 145k with 2000 miles, 1 owner.
Can anyone recall any other Porsche model or even any other marque where there has been this magnitude of supply of a limited edition run car?
Is this the beginning of the end of the new Porsche car speculator? GT4s / 991 RS ?
At £300k AP for an RS, it would appear the answer to your last question is an unequivocal 'no'.......:Cheapest car now at 145k with 2000 miles, 1 owner.

Don't think so.
Merely attempting to bring some much needed balance to this rather amusing thread.

Have you driven an RS to know how talented it is?
Have you read any of the numerous reviews which basically all came to the same conclusion about the abilities of the car? Do you disagree?Do I disagree that reviews have been good? No.
Do I care that reviews have been good? No.
Would I always agree that a car is good just based on good reviews? No
I think you can see where this is going. Reviews of the GT3 were also very good. I didn't like the GT3.
I like to make my own mind up about cars. Don't you?

Cripes! 36 pages of people b1tching about over-inflated GT3 prices....that must be a new record!!
Heads: How dare you!? The prices are NOT over-inflated, the car really IS that good and worth every penny! They will be £200k next week.
Tails:
Ah, so you agree then? They ARE over-inflated....
Take your pick
Do I go to Switzerland/Germany and buy a new/nearly new LHD car and do limited mileage and sell it on in 3 months time for a reasonable/acceptable/fair community acceptable profit and then do the same again ad infinitum.
Just be a nice life style business for a mid-fifties entrepreneur. I have done more than my fair share of racing so I don't need to do track days etc. Will still do the odd VLN race.
Please shoot me down in flames. It might save me a load of money !
