9000 mile mk2 has just popped up for sale:

£195,000
Even comes with the original 10 year old Pirelli tyres!

They will spice any test drive up. Looks a nice car I haven't seen a RHD Mk2 yet with the non comfort seats, this one also doesn't appear to have the optional PCM unit that was available on the Mk2.

Jessica's Mk2 polar silver ex Clive Sutton car was shipped overseas last year when the then current owner sold it, his eyes will be watering if he sees this advert and asking price!
The Ex Jessica car was probably one of the best GT2s in the UK. All original paint and panels and fitted with the carbon pieces. At the time, it was strong money but looks like a bargain today. We are looking for another.

Perfect. The 996 shape is a refreshing sight after just looking at the mess that is the 991 GT3 RS, looks like something Nissan put together compared to this.

Yes, unfortunately some Guards Red GTs had a tough life.

Not any of the usual suspects, looks as if it's been in storage or had very light use (mileage and tyres).

Very rare car so very interested in what it does indeed sell for.

KAL has a blue Mk2 model, but this isn't his car.

No offence intended but I would say the person who sold a gt2 for 50 k less than it is worth now and lost a deposit on a gt3 rs that is worth a 100 k more now is the fool. Had you kept both you would be up at least 150k.
They will never make any new 996 gt models all cars go thorough phases of being liked and disliked. As the 996 gt cars become classics there shape being so different there values will go up. 5 years ago I predicted that the gt2 996 would be worth more than it was new this year ( read my profile) which has happened they were 120k new now there's one for sale on ph for 195k. I would also say that they will be worth over 500k in the future possible another 5 years depending on the economy this tracking the value of the 993 gt2.

And that's about all I got to say about that lol

I don't know but isn't the racing pedigree of the 993 GT2 the reason for its desirability? Why they're upwards of 500k now and the romance of the aircooled engines?

The 996 version just seems a little hollow without that pedigree.

Having said that I feel the romance of a proper hairy chested beast whenever I get into it, like today for example 80 miles and just loving every second even the straight bits.
