Shouldn't it be at least £10K more than this?

I can only assume its because of the mileage! Which is silly really as the engine and gearbox are known to be bulletproof.

I do know its been on sale for a while though so they may be open to offers, might be worth throwing in a low-ball and see what they say.

Wouldn't call cheap, just about right given how mileage sensitive people are in the UK.

Having seen a black one at Goodwood yesterday, i think black hides the lines a bit too much. Maybe that's put people off?

Would have been £50k 2 years ago with that mileage so doesn't seem cheap to me.

Yes but the other black cars are 80k x2 , 85k and 90k so it is cheap in comparison.

If it exists, sometimes dealers leave sold cars up on the sites to bring in phone calls and then sell them something else.

If it seems cheap and its hung around, then there is often a reason (I don't know the car at all so can't help) or maybe black, no buckets, slightly higher mileage mean it's not so desirable? I love the way it looks personally. Have it inspected if you are serious ....

Any recommendations for someone to inspect it? And how does that work? Do you get it trailered to JZM, or do they visit?

(Sorry about the dumb questions - I've never contemplated buying a car that costs 4 times what my first house did before. I've had stuff inspected by the RAC before now, but I can't imagine that's adequate.)

DELETED: Comment made by a member who's account has been deleted.
Above is correct, this car was for sale privately for quite some time.
From memory the private price dropped below £60k.
The garage had had it for sale for a number of months.
A lot of 997 gt3 cars currently for sale have been up for some time.

I would use the nearest specialist that has a good reputation.. If you really get stuck, then the nearest Porsche dealer will do an inspection. Get ASM to deliver to the inspection. If they won't, then run and don't look back!

I'm about to sell a cobalt blue 36 k 7.1 CS with pccb's for a friend
If that's cheap , I will be in the high 70 's I guess albeit private not trade
Personally I think 70 is reasonable for the black car.
It's not a massively high spec.

I went to see a red Cayman R they had for sale last October..............ropey at best, service history wasn't as it should be so thought he'd make up a story about why it was as it was and then was arsey when I made contact about the car a few weeks later......

I looked for a while before I found my car. There were big differences between good and bad cars. Getting an inspection from someone who really understands GT3 is essential. Although there were several very low miles cars available at the time, the car I bought had 35K miles on the clock. What mattered much more to me was that it was a one owner car with full main dealer history with original panels. The clincher was that although it is a Clubsport, the extinguisher and harnesses were unfitted and still boxed.

The bkack car may well be a good car with higher miles. If so, it will be a good buy.

You might also want to look at the speed yellow clubbie at JZM. That also looks like a nice car at a (relatively) decent price.

That would be my first choice, but my wife isn't keen on the colour! frown

"JD2", thanks for your email, for which thank you very much! Point taken.

I get a Domino (spit) address book error when I try to reply to you - hence my (somewhat cryptic) reply here.
