996 3-spoke steering wheel Dia?

Hi all,

Really been struggling to find this answer for some reason.... I have a 996.1 with the 4 spoke steering wheel and like most, suffer with leg hitting issues. Been thinking about the 3 spoke as it looks smaller and nicer. I found on the options list that mine is 363mm dia but cant find anywhere on the Interweb about the 3 spoke.

The PorscheShop sell a fairly horrid looking one but its just 340mm dia, really hoping this is the size of the 3 spoke factory.

...however for some weird reason it not only looks smaller, it feels smaller (especially the fat-rimmed GT3 version) ...the former influencing the latter ?

Perhaps the three spoke steering wheel + boss extender will bring you the improvement in driving position you're after?

I swapped my 4 spoke tiptronic steering wheel for a 3 spoke tiptronic changed straight over with no Issues at all. And looks a lot nicer

Thank you, I don't need the wheel any closer as I have it pushed all the way back as it is. just would like a smaller dia OEM wheel. Sounds like its not an option so ill just keep with the wheel I have
