Hi guys,

Sorry for the basic question....

This '02 C4S is often at the Studios I work at and I'm never quite sure what colour it is.
I'm thinking it's Seal Grey but can't be too sure as I'm a bit of a 911 novice.
Now that the GT3 has sailed and the Turbo is/has headed that way I'm quite keen on settling into either a C4S or if the wife allows a turbo in the attached colour....

Thanks

Great colour on the 996 C4S or turbo.

I spent circa 12 months looking for the right spec manual 996 turbo in Seal Grey.

Had to compromise on a 996 turbo X50 in Slate Grey! wink

Thanks guys.
The more I see it, the more I think it's the nicest 996 colour.
Seeing this one at work reinforces it too!

What other dark silver/grey 996 colours are out there?
Atlas, Slate?

Wow!
That is lovely.
I was starting to wonder if seal grey 996 turbos even existed. I'd love one with factory aero!
I've been trawling piston heads for months and not seen one.

This one?

I looks a lovely car, but the sticking point is that it's automatic…
What does "Exclusive Program" mean for the uneducated like myself?

What's the general feeling towards Aero vs non? Is one more desirable than the other in terms of resale? Was Aero a more expensive option from new (silly question but without the hydraulics in the rear spoiler Porsche would have saved money wouldn't they?)

I suppose it comes down to what you prefer. On a personal level I prefer
the standard car however the Aero package is a £3522 cost option. I am not denying
the wing looks good howver I do like to put the rear wing up and down

Had to settle for Seal, Slate was top of my list!! Personally I can't stand the aero kit, the front lip is too big and the spoiler just looks all wrong. I'd see both in the flesh before you make a decision

Thanks Land Shark and shanty!

I know what you're saying about the Aero front spoiler, it does jut out quite a way.

It's the aero rear spoiler I quite fancy, there's something I can't quite get my head around with the standard rear spoiler. I love the GT3 rear spoilers so perhaps the aero reminds me of that in a round about kind of way.

The GT2 rear spoiler is my favourite though, it's so wild and in your face!

Wow, beautiful!
Slate Grey appears quite black though, where does Atlas Grey fit between Seal and Slate?

996 turbo in Basalt Black (to compare to Atlas Grey)

996 turbo in Atlas Grey (Greenish tinge)

I prefer the 996 turbo in Slate Grey (ideally without colour coded alloys)

Or 996 turbo in Seal Grey

I wouldn't say Atlas grey has a "Greenish tinge" it's more of a blue. From a distance it looks black but when you get close it has an almost petrol blue tint to it. My 997 Turbo is Atlas grey and I really like it,as it stands out from the multitude of Basalt cars.

It's also much darker than Seal grey....

Ohhh Atlas Grey is very nice, as is Slate Grey.

My wife doesn't have much time for Seal unfortunately but loves Atlas (as it has a bit of 'sparkle').

So, anyone got a manual 996 Turbo in Atlas or Slate Grey with black interior for sale?
