As above really, what value would you place on a 2008 997 gen 1 turbo with 90000 miles? Full history etc but just covered some mileage. Will be up for sale very soon but difficult to price.

Will still depend on spec and condition, and whether a private or retail sale. If the former, any OPC warranty?

It will probably drive better than a garage queen that only comes out once in a blue moon £40k

I've only seen a few pictures (my brother is selling on a friends behalf as he lives in Belgium). I would imagine full history as he doesn't hold back on maintenance. He mentioned around £40k, personally that seems slightly steep to me given the mileage.

£40k is ambitious and I am being polite, in a year or two the car will go over the psychological 100,000 miles barrier

Only way it would get close to that IMHO is if it is mega spec (eg incl PCCB), under Porsche warranty, and had new rads, tyres, discs, pads and clutch a week ago

It's up for sale now under my username. He will also take substantially less than the advertised price so if anyone is interested feel free to give me a shout. Cheers.

If he'll take offers, that looks like a decent buy for someone. Has a few expensive options and looks reasonably tidy..

As someone has said, probably a better bet than some garage queens.

Good luck with the sale

Agree it might be a good buy at 35; think it's an odd tactic to list it at a price substantially above what would be accepted though. Listing at near to what he would take might attract some looking at C2S.

Looks a nice example though, I would add some comments as to condition of PCCB as this would be my big concern given mirage and replacement cost.

Just a personal pet hate but PCM/satnav, Bose, electric memory seats, sunroof and immobiliser and not "upgrades" which I read as cost options - they are standard spec on turbos.

I caught up with my brother at the weekend. I know he would take £35k for it. Full Porsche history and he mentioned the ceramic brakes have just been done (I'm not sure what done meant or what is involved!!)

I would advertise it for 35,995 then and put details of PCCB maintenance up, it is kind of key what it is that was done, as they are £10k+ to replace and are supposed to wear out at 100k - so I would hope "done" = means replaced
