I was at the Ring this weekend, saw 2 Lava RSs, must admit, I was a little disappointed with how flat the colour is, like an off Guards Red.

It's an RS, shouldn't it be a bit 'shouty' if you so desire?

There was an Aventador there too, in Arancio Atlas I believe, bright metallic orange. Now that should've been a launch colour for the RS, it looked brilliant!

On a side note, the RS sounds brilliant, and it was nice to see them being used as intended, not locked up in a garage somewhere...

Im sure owners will love the colour, if I had ordered one personally I would definitely have wanted Paint to sample. I think the 4 standard colours (Lava Orange, Ultraviolet Purple, Black and White) are not quite as sting as they could be - Id be boring and opt for white out of those but Id want a different colour - probably something like mexico blue/riviera blue or agate grey

I think UV will be a good colour to have, I've seen two in Lava so far..

There really was no chance of customers getting PTS, and the UV I've seen in Germany is just ok, a bit like an 80s VW colour.

I have spoken to a select few and said as they had their order in for ages they were able to ... that or they were a 918 customer

You are right the choice is poor and as such PTS was oversubscribed and they pulled it - if your spec was locked I think you kept it - if not (as most) no chance

As he said, PTS was only offered many weeks after the launch, and only for a very short time. If you missed that window then no PTS for you on a 991 RS. It continues to be available for the GT3 et al.

Not on the GT4, and you cannot order a GT3.

Couple of questions;

I have just had my RS build slot confirmed for March (France LHD), when will they require full payment? I currently have £15,000 deposit in from Feb this year. I have just been asked to confirm spec today.

Is PTS still an option in France, it is still up on their config? I know it is not up on the UK version.
