Whilst I loved the 981 Cayman S, I fancied a bit more go.

A 3.8 engined Cayman would suit me fine, but since I missed the boat on the GT4, there is no PDK option (till today!) and the wing at the back is a bit too much for a daily driver, I bit the bullet and got a 991 GTS.

I wasnt looking for a cab, but Porsche Bournemouth pulled together a cracking deal on this demo car.. Absolutely love it.

Note the corroded centre lock bolts are due to be replaced wink

Stunning. Enjoy it!

Porsche Notts loaned me a red, pdk, 2-wheel drive, coupe version of this on Friday/Saturday.
Had a trip away with mates - they were all in Ferraris (4 x 458s and 1 California) and the GTS did itself proud!

Absolutely loved it. Now just need to decide _if_ I can afford to 'upgrade' from my beloved '06 997 C2S manual.
Would be looking to buy next Spring at the earliest if I can afford to....

Splendid, last saturday I got a ride in a friend just delivered grey 991 4 GTS PDK cab with the same black wheels, I loved it despite I told him I should have gone for the 2wd.

How did the centre caps become so corroded?

I think an abrasive wheel cleaner. Replacement set costing the OPC 900 quid!
