I noticed that. I see on their actual web site they have changed the price to POA.
It was more in comparison to those posted up for sale at £300 - £330k. Now that is a crazy price for something that is still being built and sold to customers for £140k. Albeit only a select few customers.
yep, even £216k seems a bargain compared to £330k, the price spread is crazyIt was more in comparison to those posted up for sale at £300 - £330k. Now that is a crazy price for something that is still being built and sold to customers for £140k. Albeit only a select few customers.

Maclaren is the new Porsche ....570 , great feel , affordable , available, fun to drive ...... can track them and drive home without feeling like a spotty teenager with a huge wing on the back .......and I love Porsche and still race them ...
Never driven one but they do look the part I think. As regards tracking I think you might need to have a McLaren 'checked over' by McLaren before and after going on track to maintain warranty etc ?? If so could be a pain if you do a lot of tracking.
Silly prices will continue until interest rates lift. I expect prices to suffer once people have better places to put their money. At present the markets are gittery and returns are still historically poor and banks/bonds/gilts etc are very poor.
I don't imagine prices will drop much below list though and cars such as the GT3RS are viewed as under priced by Porsche if you look at there competition.
I'm pleased I've got a GT4 coming which I think maybe a future classic because of it's rarity and the fact it is a parts bin special form cars higher up the ranges, will be interesting to see in 20 years. I certainly am not seeing it as an investment though, it will be driven and used and if the price goes down so be it. My brothers 1950 series 1 was worth £5k afew years ago and with a lick of paint is now worth £25-40k.... mad

I posted on this car earlier on another thread. It's obviously a scam....
Be careful of this one!

I was very interested in this. Initially I assumed it was a LHD car but after chatting to the seller the story went that it's actually a RHD car but originating in France. The customer being a wealthy Arabic gentleman who secured the order having purchased a 918.
I asked for a chassis number so I could check out the car with Porsche in terms of it's actual spec etc. Turns out the details I had been given relate to a USA spec LHD vehicle!!!
