Pretty much, oh and the completely different engine smile

Mk1 is the famous Mezger engine with GT1 heritage
Mk2 is a brand new DFI engine

Thanks. It's a very artificial exercise valuing a car like this - the values seem all over the place. All I know is that it was difficult to buy the car that I wanted in 2009 - If I had to replace it now, 'd expect to have to pay a premium for a manual 2008 with low mileage and excellent bodywork.
Are you valuing for an "agreed value"?

No, it's for an unvalued policy. I was tempted to get a quotation for an agreed value policy, but decided to stick with the multi-car unvalued policy this year. Do you buy agreed value? If so, how much more does it cost than a regular policy?

Agreed value cost me around £20 more so well worth having. You just need to supply the usual 6 photos of the car.

All the low miles late 08/09 manuals now being sold between 61k and 67k so that's the new benchmark

Are these more sought after than the 06/07 models due to age or are there other differences? What would be the difference in price between 06 and 09 for the identical spec/miles/condition/history?
Sorry, is it .1 v .2 or am I getting my dates muddled? I am aware of Mezger v DFI.

That's a bargain. Do you mind saying which insurer you've gone with?

Sounds on the money at current prices you see these selling for.

Interesting view on prices for gen 1 turbos. This one at OPC Leeds seems a good buy given that it will have an official warranty.....
