As per title, this was a 1 or 2 series TV show that followed marine salvage efforts all over the world. Riverdance on the Blackpool beach (or slightly north of Blackpool if you want accuracy!), the Napoli off Lyme bay as well as a fair few other wrecks that were refloated or cut-up in situ.

It was on the National Geographic channel around 2009/2010 and I would like to re-watch the shows. I believe there were 11 or 13 episodes in total over, I think, 2 series.

Anyone know where I could acquire a copy of the shows?

Is this it Salvage Code Red s01e01 Fire Storm? Not brilliant quality but watchable.

(Mods: please remove if link isn't allowed. I'm assuming something on dailymotion should be copyright safe)

Yes that is the show, there are 13 episodes in total and I have been able to 'acquire' around 8 of them but there are a few I just can't find, The Napoli episode being one of them.

Not salvage code red but, SVITZER has a few mini documentary’s on their channel which are quite interesting to watch.

I've already watched those Svitzer videos Blue but cheers!

I found out that Salvage Code Red was made by Steadfast TV and I then found their website with contact details, all emails are bounced-back as undeliverable and their phone lines are dead. A bit of googling showed up Steadfast TV went into administration a few years ago (no mention of it on their website!) so I then googled some more and found the name of the producer for Salvage Code Red. I emailed him and he came back to me the same day, very helpful chap actually but ultimately couldn't provide or sell me copies of the programme.

He advised me to contact Nat Geo TV so I've done that, awaiting response.

The same producer (Colin Campbell) also produced the recent Raising the Costa Concordia documentary for TV.

It is possible to purchase a Nat Geo DVD of Salvage Code Red but is only available as Region 1 format and only contains 3 of the 13 episodes!

Thanks for this link I'm working my way through them.
Nice to watch a program/vid that is so plain and factual none of the 'If this cable breaks the ship will roll over, everyone will die, the world will end' (Accompanied by a graphic showing the above in case I didn't understand).

Apologies for 'bouncing' this thread, but I am still having no luck obtaining copies of this show.

I've tried every avenue I can think of, Nat Geo won't respond to my emails, the show is so old now that it doesn't appear on any peer-to-peer type sites, I am drawing a blank!

My 9-month search for the last 3 episodes I am missing has drawn a blank every avenue I have gone down frown

I am missing the Napoli episode from Series 1, and 2 episodes from Series 2: episodes 2 ("Disaster Zone") and 5 ("Azores").

If anyone knows where I can obtain, even buy, these episodes from it would be gratefully appreciated.

It's a great series, those salvage guys are brave but not foolish, however despite having hung around off wind turbines previously I salute there sheer balls in some of those circumstances
