Anyone used AHM?

Different company I think : http://www.astonmartincare.co.uk
I know Adie, the owner of AHM fairly well. I met him back in the 90's when we were racing in the Alfa Romeo Championship as he was / is an Alfa Specialist for road and race cars. When I went back to the Championship in the early 2000's me and a friend got him to prepare both our cars as he had made a very good name for himself. We went on to have a very successful year, finishing 1-2 so the car prep was good!
I bumped into him many years later at Brands where he was racing a beautiful Ex-Italian Touring Car Alfa 33 that he still has. We kept in touch a bit through racing and he ended up buying a Vantage at about the same time as me as it had long been a dream car for both of us. He now looks after quite a number of Aston’s as well as still doing the Alfa’s.
For the sake of honesty, I don’t take my car there for servicing at he moment, and that is purely because I live deep down in Kent, and it would entail a trip right round the M25, so would be a ball-ache on a weekday morning getting there and back. That being said, he did do my thermostat and sorted out a couple of other minor issues for me (sticking fuel flap, etc), as I was passing by on a weekend away to Wales, and if I lived nearer, I wouldn’t hesitate in taking it there for servicing as well. He’s as good a mechanic as I have met, and he won’t give you bull, telling you to change pads or discs, etc, if they don’t need it.
I think my clutch will need changing within the next 12 months and I’ll be taking it there to be done, as for anything other than standard servicing work I would trust him over a main dealer any day. His workshop is impressive enough, with a rolling road set up, etc, but it depends what you want – if you like to be greeted by a pretty receptionist and able to sit in a comfy waiting room while sipping premium coffee then it’s probably not for you, other than that I would certainly recommend. His pricing pretty much seems to be in line with other specialists.

I'm not a customer but I have worked with AHM on a few projects and found them to be very knowledgeable and professional. I don't think one ought to have any concerns about bringing your Aston there for servicing, I would expect you to get better quality work at a lower price than a main dealer.
There's lots of great independent shops out there.

Hi, not used them, but have visited and was very impressed with set up and their knowledge. I am looking at having a few mods to my V8V in the way of exhaust manifold, 200 cell cats and maybe a remap, and I will be talking to AHM and a rww others before proceeding. By the way, already had a quicksilver sport rear box fitted, the sound is fantastic, cheers
I purchased a 2007 DB9 5 weeks ago from an independent specialist in the North and I discovered that a few things hadn't been sorted so I looked around for a AM specialist in my area (North Hampshire) rather than take it back to the dealer and found AHM. I read the website in detail and spoke to them and instantly felt confident with their level of knowledge of cars in general and Aston's specifically so I took it down there for a further chat. I've just picked the car up having had the niggles sorted and the level of service from both John and Aidy has been exceptional. A 10minute chat with Aidy on collection uncovered quite how much he knows about cars and how to look after them and also his passion for Aston's.
There were multiple Aston's there both when I dropped it off and when I collected it and based on this experience, I intend to use them moving forward.
