I decided to get my GT3 detailed before having Paintshield apply their paint protection film. I have never had a car detailed before. But I wanted the paint to be perfect before the film was applied. I used the CAR CARER in Maldon for the detailing and was amazed at the difference. It is now better than new. I have used Paintshield in the past for applying the stone protection film. I would highly recommend both. If you look at the Car carer facebook page, you will see the process.

I've ordered this (XPEL) for the whole front , side sills and rear haunches when the new car arrives - Appreciate any comments as to the look / finish / gloss / chip resistance etc. Especially after track use.
Cheers

Hi Bob
I had the same on my previous 996 GT3. It is hardly noticeable and does protect the paint from stone chips. You polish the car as normal and it is self healing.

Dare I say Suntek 2 for all areas other than high impact then Xpel for the rest. Without doubt cover the whole car. Topaz Detailing did an awesome job on my GT3RS.

Can I ask what the whole process cost?

Hi

Prices vary on the condition, car model and amount of coverage you go for on the car.
