My dog just ate the soap

As it says. He's gone into the bathroom and picked a bar of Dove off the bath. Scoffed the whole bar. He has since had his breakfast and I've got to go to work. God only knows what mess I might come home to.
Is this a danger to him or is it likely to end up as a frothy mess (from either or both ends) in the kitchen when I get home tonight?

IIRC there's nothing toxic in soap for dogs, he'll probably spew it back up all over the kitchen today.

As long as he's ok tomorrow and is eating I wouldn't worry, if he's not right after a day or so call the vet.

We had a dog do that once. Came home to a dog foaming at the mouth like a rabies victim, still at least her breath smelt better.

Milo used to always try and steal the soap if he got in the bathroom. Never seemed to do nay harm...

Turn7 is right, the beastie is a Bully. And you will all be disappointed to learn that on my return tonight, there was nothing nasty to greet me at all! However, I did come home to this...Maybe he'd already swept it up?
