Hello
I've very new to this forum and noticed quite a number of French members.
We have lived in the Charente Maritime for 12 years and currently own a 1969 Lotus Elan S4
(Just sold my Caterham 7 :-( )

Anyone near with any classis cars?

Thanks
Terry

Not that close, but in the North Dordogne (24360) if you ever get out our way.

Also used to have a Caterham, but now a TR3a

I'm in the Charente, half way between Angouleme and Cognac. If you are ever out blasting around the highways and byways you are welcome to call in. Any excuse to take the weaponry out for a thrash is good!

Thanks for the offer Russ, I might take a trip to the next Jarnac meet. What's the dates for March and April?

Hi Terry. I believe it's the second Sunday of each month in the town centre.neilsfirst has been before so is the best source of info but judging from the photos it looks well worth a visit. Maybe see you there in April?

May have to be May as I am away for that Sunday in April.
At least the weather will be a bit warmer hopefully!

It's tomorrow and the weather is looking clear. Myself and daughter are heading off for about a half 10 arrival.

If all of you are interested we have field that we can all meet up in, easily accessed from the road and great for donuts and dicking around in. We will fire up the braed oven if you want to bring raw meat to carbonise in it. We are between Saintes, Saint Jean D'Angely and Cognac.

If any of you fancy travelling a bit West or SW, then a meet-up and drive around the vineyards of Bordeaux is always fun in a group of nice cars. I can organise vineyards and the route if anyone is interested. As for when though I'm not too sure. I guess when the weather is better.....

Great stuff. When suits everyone and a few more takers. A Sunday morning/lunch meet would be great. Families welcome if they fit in the cars!

I am sure we have space around the field to park about 50 cars and still have room for fun. Just avoid the small birch tree!

North Gironde here, so a bit of a step away but close enough for some classic car gatherings if anyone's up for it?

Who's up for the French Sunday Service at mine on the 22nd May. We are 2km's away from Brizambourg.

Our field is the one in the middle of the screen and entered safest in the middle at the right. Will be nicely mown around this to make it obvious.
