Just wondered is anyone else steaming up inside windscreen and rear window after leaving the car parked at the moment? Mine was particularly bad this morning, (car parked on drive overnight, shaded drive, mild frost), actually dripping off the rear screen. It soon clears but it took me back to motoring in the 80s. I am hoping it is peculiar climatic conditios, carpets and boot etc are bone dry.

I put a post on a little while ago about this with my car.
Have just had it back with a £500.00 bill water filling up the chassis rail apparently then floor needing re sealing.

I've had this a bit recently too. I thought it was due to opening the hatch and some rainwater running in.
Chassis rail flooded? Floor resealed? FFS!

When I saw the topic title, I immediately thought of avinalarf.

You have been too quick for him today though.

Oh dear David.

Re sealing? Why was it not sealed before?
I would have thought that must be considered a fault during manufacture.

Perhaps Jonby will mention the matter to his new Twitter friend, Dr. Andy Palmer.

Also take a look at the boot carpet. I haven't had this on the V12V, but on the V8V my boot carpet was soaking wet one morning. This was causing the misting on the inside when the car got warm in the sun smile

My car did this. The driver's footwell carpet was dry to the touch, but sodden underneath when you pull up all the foam etc.

Turned out water increased from below when a large puddle formed around the car in torrential rain. Just high enough to touch the underside of the car.

Check the boot floor as well, all drains (incl. sunroof), and pollen filter. Try leaving the car with the cabin air directed at the floor (in case moist air is coming through dash vents from the evaporation tray).

Check the VIN aperture on the passenger side of the windscreen , if there's condensation in it the it could be a leaking windscreen.
My V8VR windscreen was leaking, so it was removed and resealed for circa £120, problem solved.

Check your aircon is working - may need gassing up...you think you have it on, but really its not working and you have a really high moisture content in the car

I think this is a known fault! !! I heard a sloshing noise from behind seats on my 06 db9 at first thought it was petrol in the tank but turned out to be water in the chassis, sorted under warranty, no water or misting inside though, Neil
