Have anyone come across non PHEV cars parked in the electric bays?

I saw an Audi Q7 The other day at the Trafford centre Manchester, It was an older one and definitely not an E-Tron which I don't think that is on the road yet anyway?

Are these parking bays going to be the new 'parent and baby' parking abusers?

On a Saturday morning I plug in at the local leisure centre to charge while the son is at his class. 2 weeks in a row the same seat was parked in the charging spots. 3rd week there was a leaf plugged in and the seat had blocked the other space. I asked reception to call the reg. Number and ask her to move.
Receptionist put a call out then told me if she wasn't out in 5 minutes to block her in and disappear for an hour smile
Don't know what they said to her but she wasn't happy when she appeared a few minutes later.

Found a Leaf parked today in a charging space in Aberdeen, no owner about and not charging the car, just taking up a bay.

Constant problem. Especially in busy car parks, especially as EV spaces are usually near the door.

One of many reasons why I'm giving up my Leaf next month.

Unfortunately it's the world we live in, car parks are overcrowded and there are too many selfish morons who believe the rules don't apply to them, surprisingly a lot drive Audis/Q7s so go figure... Await the ambush.

It's the same with parent and child spaces as well as disabled spaces, they are normaly occupied by the chavvy, orange skinned, ugg boot wearing brigade.

One of the carparks round here claims to give tickets to people for using the parent and child spaces with out having a child with you. Never seen them enforce it though.
