I said you "may have" discounted it...and actually said I doubted you would....so there's absolutely no need for the "why would we" comment. With all due respect if you're trying to promote your business by joining PH I'd suggest you remember everyone else isn't a member for commercial gain...there are plenty of people who work in the car trade that do post on here but generally there attitude tends to be rather different to yours. And if you actually think about it my post was actually promoting your business....so why on earth would you come in with a "why would we" comment...this isn't a school playground.
So congratulations on your first two posts being a) probably a breach of PH rules as you appear to be trying to do business and b) your attitude leaves a lot to be desired.
Oh and my third point would be you should probably learn how to punctuate and spell if you're going to be representing your employer
What you could have said was something like
"Hi, I'm a new member and work for Top 555. Glad to report we sold the car for asking price within 24 hours"
Then everyone would think what a nice bloke you were. Oh well.
Just stumbled on this, gosh there's some sensitive flowers around just itching for a pointless argument. So congratulations on your first two posts being a) probably a breach of PH rules as you appear to be trying to do business and b) your attitude leaves a lot to be desired.

I see that the new 991.2 Carrera S is already heading south in terms of values with a few now in the mid £80's on the used locator.
In contrast the 991 GTS is still holding very strong and looks to be a very good buy with pricing firmly averaging the mid 90's.
GTS models have always done well with residuals but I wonder if we'll see the 991.1 GTS outperform the 991.2 GTS due to being the last of the normally aspirated 911's?

I think it will depend on the amount of 991.2 GTS which are available. Although now that they have brought the release to early in the cycle there is still 3 years of production left... so probably loads! Which will help the 991.1 GTS as there wasn't that many of them.In contrast the 991 GTS is still holding very strong and looks to be a very good buy with pricing firmly averaging the mid 90's.

There doesn't seem to be many allocated to each OPC this year, so initial numbers will be low. I don't think there's three years left either - I thought the next new 911 would be early 2019? I suspect all the GTS cars will hold up well, the 991.2 cars are being well received so demand will always be there, but rest assured both the 991.1 and 991.2 cars will depreciate - just not quite as much as the Carrera and Carrera S models.Or am I wrong?

I think the model cycle is 3 years then refresh, then 3.5 years till new model. The refresh has been about for a year so I reckon late 2019 early 2020 for the new model.
The 991 came out in 2011, but it was the 2012 model year, early 2012 to early 2019 is 7 years so longer than your estimated 6.5 years. A quick check on the web finds a few reports by car magazines also saying 2019, they also say they expect the '992' to be unveiled sometime next year.went in the end for
GTS Interior (silver stitching)
Buckets + memory
PDK
Bermester
Front axel lift
Reversing camera
Tinted rear/windows (its a black car)
PASM -20mm
Cruise control
Automatic dimming rear mirror
seat heating (didnt know buckets had this option was left in when switched out from sports seats)
smoking package (told it is useful as adds a neat lid over front storage well)
light design package (been told this is essential if you are married)
Turbo S wheels (the 'standard GTS' ones)
decided against
PDCC / RWD steering as wanted the car to be less complicated, and heard mixed things on RWD steering
Sports seats - initially had these went for buckets in the end as loved the ones in my GT3 and think they look a lot better/make the car feel more sporting
Sport Design Pack: was adding a 2m delay, but also when i tried to amend spec OPC said i cannot keep it - given 2m delay, no ducktail and wanting other things more i skipped it

Does anyone's 991.1 have the same steering wheel as this car:

?
Interested to hear what the switch in the last picture does - is it an active cruise control?

Prices seem to be on the up for NA 991.1 GTS....
Several cars back up to £100k and the OPC I spoke to the other day said they are very in demand, last one they had sold first phone call.
Not complaining! But having had the car out after being tucked up in the garage for a few weeks I really don't know what I'd replace it with at the moment...
