Looks fantastic! Same as mine too - GT Silver with GTS Interior and Silver stitching. Can't wait now!

What are your chassis options? You mentioned Rear Axle steering, do you have the -10 or -20 PASM?

Does anyone buy the extra insurances from their OPC? I have had quotes for GAP (can get better cover cheaper elsewhere I reckon), but what about Tyre and Rim insurance, and SMART insurance? Are these considered to be worthwhile?

Just picked mine up today. Early days yet but every new car I get Porsche seem to move the game on (I've had a couple of 991.1 S's and test drove a few early 991.2's). Steering feel has improved. PDK feels sharper. Its my first turbo since a 997.1 Turbo but first impressions of the new engine are remarkably good - sharp throttle response and bags of low down torque. Sport sharpens things up even more. Mine has the RWS as I've had it on previous cars - definitely feel the difference. The interior is just lovely - I spec'd the GTS/leather option. Thanks to OPC Leeds for getting the car so promptly!
Many congrats on a stunning car...! Your spec mirrors mine GT silver,PDK,RWS coupe and after seeing these photos i can't wait for mine to arrive beginning of May..

My OPC doesn't offer Tyre/Wheel insurance as is the case with quite a few...guess that means there are issues with some of the policy providers.

GAP insurance can be had elsewhere cheaper but read the policy docs. My car insurance comes with three years GAP cover included...it's an Aviva Private Client policy. Very good value I think for the quality of cover.

Unfortunately inflation is a necessary side effect of a global economic capitalistic world we live in and is needed to sustain growth and deflate debt to keep us gullible consumers knocking on the door. That is why politicians run scared at the mention of the dreaded word "DEFLATION"...!
As i suspect i'm metaphorically flogging a dead horse here i'll come straight to the point........Either buy the fucensoreding car or simply ask for your £5K deposit back.....Simples...;)
Taffy, I'm with you. It may sound harsh, but I'm with your sentiment, he should either buy the car, or get his deposit back. Life's too short to get litigious with a Porsche dealer....

I spend my time aggressively squeezing margins and costs in my businesses, but when it comes to buying trinkets, its easier to just roll over and pay - my time is better spent elsewhere.....

I've never taken any insurances of this type....I'm wondering what I should buy with the money I've saved over the years...?!

It may be because my OPC (Chester) have a wheel refurb and SMART repair facility on site. The GAP I can get from ALA is 5 years and I can choose return to invoice or replacement value, they also pay cash to spend where you like eg on a different make/model. GapInsurance.co.uk offer a good policy too, both are less expensive than the Porsche 3 year policy.

I don't disagree with you on this - the tyre and wheel cover is £649 for 3 years, a puncture mostly means a new tyre at £300 so it could be well worth having - on the other hand I probably wouldn't need to spend more than £649 over 3 years on a car I take good care of. The SMART cover is £499 so again I think I'll take a chance and pay as I go.
The GAP cover though could potentially be worth a large sum of money - particularly if something were to happen in years 4 or 5, so the policy cost is decent value I would say.

It was the standard one i.e. -20 . Ride is spot on and compliant.

No, you were quite correct not to spec GT silver as everybody on this forum including myself has chosen it...! There will be a glut of GT silver 991.2GTSs on the market in a year's time...

PSE sounds very good, night and day between it off and on...though not as loud as my wife's Boxster GTS!

Fantastic ! Interior and more exterior shots please! Oh and what's the PSE like ? I think I read they have tweaked it over other 991.2's ?

On my two current Porsches one has tyre ins and one does not...I had two nails in two tyres on the one without ins last year and despite my best efforts my other Porsche with tyre ins seems to have an inbuilt nail repellent mechanism..

Looks great, really nice stance. Is that fitted with -10 or -20mm suspension?

Finalised the spec of my GTS last weekend and I have a build date of May so I'm super excited. I was able to show absolutely zero restraint in the end and have ended up with a preposterously unnecessary spec. I've settled on Carmine Red, but still not sure I've made the right call - it was that or Crayon but I decided that Carmine was typically 'GTS'.

I have PTS on my July build GTS Cabriolet but seemingly like many here I'm finding it difficult to specify a colour away from the GT Silver and Carmine Red "traditional" colours. Crayon would be a contender if there were more pictures available of Crayon cars and so more certainty as to what shade of grey/off white I'd be living with. Traditional RS colours appeal so RS Green and Grey are contenders but is going off the GTS palette bad form or residual-destroying? Any thoughts or pictures of stunning PTS GTS or other cabriolets gratefully accepted!

I've chosen graphite blue for my GTS coupe for no other reason than I like it and, as I want the car as soon as possible, no PTS for me. If it was available as a standard colour I'd have chosen RS Grey.

The radiator apertures make the radiators pretty vulnerable, I'm considering some Zunsport grill covers for my car, does anyone else have any thoughts. I'm not sure how there adoption would effect the good old Porsche warranty

Leather seat backs look great, but you never get to see them..! Painted seat backs look even better. I chose standard, as my children will inevitably be resting their feet against them....
Can you still get painted seat backs, I don't see them on the config???

When I had a 997.1 GT3 the OPC couldn't fit them as it invalided the warranty of that helps, they checked withbporsc he GB at the time
