I'll apologise in advance for the pics...there are a few smile

When I saw your car at OPC Silverstone I'll be honest I really wasn't sure about it. It looks much better "in the wild" than it did in their showroom. For some reason I think PTS cars really need a ducktail when you go with the brighter colours. I'd love a Gulf Blue GTS !

Gulf would look great. It's a real shame that PTS is such a tough option to procure.

Just to put it out there, I am selling my GT4 Club Sport and looking for a 991 GTS in either GT Silver or Carmine.

MUST be a manual and if possible with buckets but thats not a deal breaker - Do you have one?! redface)

Let me know if you have one to sell. The GT4 is being considered by a couple of places at the moment so i don't see it hanging about for long and its a mega spec..

The plan is to have a more road bias car so incoming GTS plus something older such as a GT3 for weekends and fun days out

Cheers

Almost my exact same thoughts, I want to change out of the GT4 ideally into a manual 991 GTS but gosh they are hard to track down. Probably shouldn't have sold my 10k miles 997GTS with buckets and leather!

I too have a high spec GT4 that I'd look to sell and use the GTS as the cornerstone of the garage. Got a couple of other thoughts too but need to try and fit in some test drive time.

Interesting you guys wanting to come out of the GT4. I was originally going for the GT4 but went for the GTS for similar reasons stated above.

There is a cracking manual GTS4 in Sapphire Blue at OPC Swindon. Spec looks great as well. Sapphire Blue looks stunning in the flesh.

Good luck!

Well spotted but its an ex Porsche 'Management' car and I'm not sure I want one of those. Probably fine but might have come from the PEC experience centre.

Also i want a 2wd car. I might be searching for a while!

Ahhh good spot. Yes you might be waiting a while. Might be worth going for the Gen2 GTS when its released?

Sure it'll be a nice car but I had a 991.2 S for a weekend and I didn't like the turbo engine. It's out of puff at 6500 revs and sounded too poppy and bangy on overrun, I think to make up for lack of actual exhaust / engine noise. Not a fan of the new 3 litre turbo at all 😬

I think the 991.1 GTS will hold good residuals for that very reason and may even rise in value?

We might have to come to an agreement as we don't want to be in a bidding war - only one winner then and it won't be you or me!

It's a nice car but I'm not sure if it has been a PEC car. I'm extremely fussy and it didn't quite hit it for me on condidition. Mrs S liked the look, colour etc. Also it was 4wd so I felt I was forcing it rather than buying an ideal spec.

Good luck with looking for a manual 2wd GTS Coupe. I have been keeping a fairly close eye on the market and haven't seen one all year! I gave up and bought a manual 997 GTS which are hard to find too. The blue 4wd manual has been for sale for several months.

There was a white 991 GTS for sale until a week ago with buckets and manual and 1500 miles on the clock. Black stripe across the bonnet and roof. Was very tempted, but it had a plastic dash which whilst OK in my GT4 with ClubSport is not IMO OK in a 911.

It seems to have disappeared so either its sold or it's going to appear at an OPC or specialist in the near future.

Was also a black one with about 7k miles on the clock in Essex way.

Probably won't be any more for months now - lol

All photo'd and ready for sale! If it was manual I'd be parked outside your drive refusing to move until you sold it to me!

I know you've only done 400 miles in it, but what is the PDK like on the 911? Mrs S has a Macan and the PDK on that is good but used as an auto 90+% of the time.

Noooo...it's a bit too soon. I need to see where the 7.2 RS is heading biggrin

Personally not a huge fan of the 7 speed manual and actually think the PDK box suits the GTS perfectly. It's awesome and a nice contrast to the manual Spyder.

That was mine... you won't see it again I'm afraid as it's currently on a boat to HK!

Sold pretty quickly for full asking price, the chap flew over to view it, returned to HK and flew back again last Friday to collect it and drive it to the port.

That was my 3rd GTS, 2 997's and 1 991. I didn't gel with the manual 991 at all, it's not a great box and terrible when you are moving up and down the gears for misalignment. No need at all for the 7 cogs, it's way too long legged. I'll stick to PDK next time and will probably go back to a 997.
