991 GTS Must haves

Think all you're doing is putting the dampers back into normal mode, PDCC is still active.

The button isn't to turn it off it's to turn the dampers to sport (firmer) mode, when the button is 'off' the dampers are in normal mode. The switch is confusing as it's labeled PDCC but it's not an on/off switch as far as I know. The button works exactly the same as the as the pasm damper button on a car without PDCC but I'm pretty sure PDCC is active all the time - it's simply a switch between normal damper stiffness and sport dampers which are firmer.

Yep, I've just checked in the Drivers Manual (always helps to RTFM) and it states 'No seperate controls are available for the PDCC system'.

That little button with a shock absorber symbol and PDCC on it, only toggles the PASM mode from 'Chassis Normal' to 'Chassis Sport' - with either option, PDCC stablisitation is always on.

I'm after black so told him I wasn't interested. Nice enough guy though and working hard to try to get me a car.

Absolutely stunning. I have the aero spoiler on top of the ducktail but may remove the rear aero spoiler as i feel it ruins the lines?

I'd agree on that one. The ducktail is fine but I actually prefer it with nothing.

Absolutely love the duck tail. I have the aero rear spoiler on top of the duck tail which I am not sure about. May remove it next summer.

Its going but not very successfully at the moment. Ive just parted with a Guards Red GT4 so want another colour. Carmine is fine as is blue, silver or black but has to be the right spec including GTS interior pack and lowish miles.

They don't seem to be moving at the moment. There are 9 on the locator and its been that way for a while.

Quick question. There was a guy on here who was on his 2nd GTS. Said the first one with a sunroof felt wobbly to drive, like a convertible and that the second car with no S/roof was much better / more solid.

Does anyone else have experience of this? I am considering a couple of cars at the moment and wonder if a sunroof might be a bad idea as I want a solid skuttle are car coming from a GT4.

GTS is a killer car. Had a 997C4S before this, and it's a different universe . . . feel kinda compelled to add something about 'pussy magnet', but I won't - (head held in shame - sorry!).

Oh, and had the badges taken off and just '911' re-added. Wondered about just 'GTS', but thought the duck with the '911' nodded slightly to olde worlde 911's.

Its a right dogs dinner at the front with what looks like a home spray job on the bumper.
Its also not got black surround headlights? I thought they came with headlights in black as standard?
