I collect my car this week and it has a leather steering wheel, I am thinking of changing it for Alcantara, can anyone who already has Alcantara say how is it holding up ? Or should I stick to the existing leather wheel? Thank you
I've bought an alcantara brush and leave it in the car and make sure I brush the seats and steering wheel regularly to keep the pile looking good. works really well. Shiverman said:

Just bought a GT silver GTS PDK with nice options including roof, GTS red pack, Bose etc. It used to be on reg number GB64 GTS and last owner was called Nigel.
Was bought from Sheffield originally then went through JZM to its second owner.
Anyone here?
Nice, I knew I recognised that reg, if you google it there are quite a few pics of when it was for sale before...Was bought from Sheffield originally then went through JZM to its second owner.

GT Silver the best colour IMO!!

I bought it through an OPC before it had been advertised. I basically got on the phone and called about asking for one and got lucky.

Looks a great spec and GT silver is the best colour silver Porsche currently make. Did you px against your GT4?
Hope you enjoy it and let us know what you think with the switch from the GT4. Strange how everyone wanted to get into the GT4 and now lots of people are swapping out into 991GTS.

It was also 6 months and I generally change my cars every 6 months to a year anyway...

Yeah, love that. That's probably the way to go, ringing round the OPCs.
Long shot, but is the owner of the Voodoo GTS from the Cardiff OPC on here?
I asked the OPC to call the owner of that car and ask if interested in selling when I was looking for my GTS. Was told they weren't looking to sell as they were still enjoying it too much. I hadn't seen it in the flesh but I saw a pic and it looked ace.Long shot, but is the owner of the Voodoo GTS from the Cardiff OPC on here?
But now I couldn't be happier with GT Silver, the past few days have been quite sunny and when the evening sun catches it the depth of the paint with the stark contrast to be black details just makes the car look stunning to my eyes...

Great looking car, not seen one with the red highlights before and they really compliment the silver, nice find. I bought it through an OPC before it had been advertised. I basically got on the phone and called about asking for one and got lucky.

Just looking at pistonheads and many GTS' have been sold by the looks of it. There were 23 ads, now there are 16.
Mixture of 997 and 991.
I reckon that they're being snapped up? Even some cars without leather / GTS pack have gone. Notably the Guilford carmine car with 6k miles which was on for 97k.
The car in Bristol with 17k in Carmine went in a day too. I saw the white Reading car on Sunday and its really clean, doesn't have a glass roof so not sure if that has a bearing at 97k?

If interested get hold of him on 0191 295 1234 before it gets advertised.
I am not sure of miles, but he said quite low and it would be for sale in the low 90's.
Spec is really nice apart from lack of leather dash but lots of carbon might make up for that.
Spec:
Sapphire Blue
Standard interior with alcantara
Carbon interior pack
Parking front & Rear
Sport design pack (Ducktail)
Sill skirts painted
Carbon Door sill guards
Centre console in Carbon
PDK selector in carbon
Power steering plus
Rear apron painted
Sport design steering wheel
Bose
Telephone
Floor mats
Heated seats
Cruise
PDK
PASM -20
Pics are from the 1st time they sold it, has had 2 owners.
Hope it helps one someone?

Not even going to ask how your day was! Congratulations and a stunning looking car.
I went to work this morning in London, then my son got the train to Victora and we got the train to Porsche Guildford to collect it and drive it home with a very happy 16 year old son and a 44 year old dad ! Gassing Station | 911/Carrera GT | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
