991 GTS Must haves

White Reading car sold now by the looks of it, was on for 97k. I am amazed at how fast these are selling. Been watching the market / used Porsche locator for the 2wd 991 GTS closely and 6 sold in past week with 4 new ones added.
No wonder the prices are buoyant...
Looks like the Black GTS with the 5 stud wheels rather than centre locks and the Lava Orange at Wolverhampton has also sold. Lava Orange looks stunning. No wonder the prices are buoyant...

Mines my daily at the moment! Will have to get something sorted for when the roads are gritted. Fokker said:

My 997 GTS was a daily and I managed to do 40K miles before trading it for my 991 GTS. That has now done 8K miles in just under a year and will be in constant use throughout the winter. It's a car not a work of art.
Personally I think its both! m88ony said:
Mines a daily also. Although will be getting a beater once the gritters come out for the winter.
GT4 now sold to a lucky chap from Scotland so collecting my GT silver GTS on Saturday with some luck. They're reconditioning the wheels and putting new tyres on all round, which was very nice of them!Asked for Michelins so probably supersports?
Looking forward to it now...

Yes I'll feed back, had Cup 2's on the GT4 but I'm pretty sure Reading OPC won't allow it out with track derived rubber as its not a GT model as such. There isn't much stock about of anything N rated in the size I require apart from Pirelli and Goodyear Eagle F1's at the moment so not sure what they'll find for me.
I like the Michelins as they have a nice look to the sidewalls and the Supersports are well known to be a good performance tyre but my experience with Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetrics is very positive. Great tyres.
Does anyone have an experience of the Pirelli P-Zeros? I used to hate the things years ago as wet weather performance was shocking, things might have changed?
Guess I'll find out soon enough!

Mine's a daily too. Going in for a full PPF in the next couple of weeks so I can use in all weather. I have a Precision day booked at Silverstone but can't get it wrapped before so lets hope I don't get too many stone chips as the car is currently chip free.Fokker said:

What sort of quotes are you getting for full car? I've rang around a few and it seems to be nearly 4k + vat for full coverage? I would like to do my car but don't really want to spend £5k on clear film!Well, I'll be interested to see the pictures of this one:

Bright colours don't seem to sell that well on a GTS it seems apart from white. Probably because its more of an every day car as against a GT3.http://www.lawtonbrook.co.uk/current-stock/for-sal...
Nice essay there in the ad. You'd think they'd have a better way of adding a more legible description of the car.
