Finally got round to painting the wheels. Satin Platinum as per GT3/4. I think it looks great. Also now on Cup2's with upgraded Girodisc brakes.
Was on track for the first time on Friday, the car is mega. Way quicker than my old GT4. These GTS's are such a great all round car, great daily, fab for touring and very impressive on track. What more do you need?

That looks AMAZING.
I just had to have it even at the daft price so cancelled my BGTS 4.0, has full ppf which softened the blow slightly. Really does look amazing in the metal I have to say. stormblack said:

Congratulations! These 991.2 GTS's are incredible. That's a lovely colour. Just picked mine up - its in Crayon which can be a bit marmite to some but it looks incredible in "the metal" - lovin' it- probably best 911 I've owned to date.
Thanks. Glad to hear it ticks the box and the best 911 you have owned as I have only ever driven one for a short round the block when it was launched. My last 911 was a 997 GTS 2wd manual so this will need to be good. Crayon looks great especially with the contrast roof. Mind you I bought my 981 spyder without driving one first and it didnt disappoint. I was tempted by a 992 but for a few reasons decided last of the 991,s is for me. AndrewO said:
Minty back up for sale, I tried to buy this at start of the year when it was at Romans but for a lot less. I guess people just can't live with buckets....7+ owners now which will put a lot of people off.
Still love the look of that car. Number of owners is a funny one and I can see the arguments both ways (long term owners may not lavish a car with attention/money that new owners often do so a cycle of owners can be good). I get it but for me, 7 owners for a car this age would make me think twice. richterswil said:

How much did Romans have it up for?I'm a bit shocked by the £75k price tag as that feel low for a PTS car at that mileage.
I remember seeing it new in the showroom at Silverstone and it is a stunning car both inside and out. I really hope the new owner enjoys and piles the miles on.
I bought my 991.1 GTS from Romans at the same time Minty was sold - the spec was incredible. First owner lost a fortune - £134k new! Every single option ticked (no Aerokit) which makes the car feel special inside - Agate Grey, Ceramics, Burmester, extended leather etc etc - only isue has been the PADM, one of which failed with only 15k miles.

The first owner of Minty was OPC Silverstone, was specced by their former Head of Sales as a showroom car who loved a punchy spec. Their 991.2 GTS demo was PTS Gelb Grun PCCB’s, Buckets, Manual etc etc Took six months to shift Minty IIRC. I don’t think the colour works on Minty to be honest….there’s a mint green 997.2 GT3 in the UK which looks awesome. For some reason the more aggressive stance of GT cars means bright colours work much better,

I also had a failed PADM at 23k miles, replaced under extended warranty. 2 weeks later the other PADM failed.. also replaced under warranty. No definitive explanation from OPC as to why they failed in such a close time span, possibly one not working correctly put strain on the other??Apart from that it's an amazing car- Owned it from new (991.2 C4 GTS)
