Classic and there's Demon spouting his usual unpleasant rubbish.
A guy buys a nice GTS with which he is over the moon with and all you can do it tell him he's paid too much for it and post stupid links to cars that have been sold.
What do you get off on? Do you understand the words diplomacy and tact or are you that insensitive due to a medical condition because that would actually make more sense to me?
Disappointing really, isn't it..? People come on here wishing to discuss a particular car...and the same individual pops up de railing the topic with his mis informed nonsense...I'm just waiting for a suggestion to the poster that he should get a Cayman R...A guy buys a nice GTS with which he is over the moon with and all you can do it tell him he's paid too much for it and post stupid links to cars that have been sold.

Anyway, I had a black C2 GTS PDK with an aerokit last year...I loved it, and it seems only once a car is gone do you remember how good it was...! For those interested in the numbers, I seem to recall it was £107k list, and I sold if for just under £100k in Sep '15...Doesn't look like its value has changed much in 12 months, which may suggest it's residually pretty strong...?

:-) stunning spec and car at the right money and aero kit.
I recon this car is about to turn at my local OPC in their used stock. http://www.alexandersprestige.co.uk/sold/6455144-p...

I think this dark colour doesn't look quite right with black wheels, what do you think?

I think steel grey looks superb. Shame its not in the UK. http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Porsche-...
Works really well with the black wheels.

I think Steel Grey is an awesome looking colour, but agree that it can be very difficult to pull off well. It's very spec dependent. http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Porsche-...
To boot, the Agate suits the 991 so well.
2 newly listed, used agate ones on the Porsche website.
Can anybody shed any light on the GTS 2 vs GTS 4? Heart says 2wd, does the 4wd ruin the driving thrill? All the reviews indicate that it's too planted....wonder if that's the consensus here too.

I haven't driven the 4gts unfortunately. Best to go for a test drive of both and see what works for you.Can anybody shed any light on the GTS 2 vs GTS 4? Heart says 2wd, does the 4wd ruin the driving thrill? All the reviews indicate that it's too planted....wonder if that's the consensus here too.

Thanks for that find. The howl is superb. Nice to hear that it sounds as good outside the car as inside!I drove a 4 and a few 2 GTS before deciding on the 2. Don't think you will go wrong with either but personally felt the 2 was the purist.
The 4 feels a bit 'heavier' and secure but this is more because of the front wheels doing some pulling rather than the weight overall I think whereas the 2 feels a bit lighter on the front end and a bit more traditional 911 perhaps.

That review is a bit strange as he bangs on about the GT3 so much when the GTS is a different car. With the benefit of hindsight on pricing that review doesn't make any sense now as there is around 40k of difference between a used GTS and a GT3. Also if you need rear seats then the GT3 immediately becomes obsolete.I think the GTS (especially with the -20mm spasm) is the perfect compromise between GT3 and Carrera for fast road use and the noise is 95% if not more as good as a GT3.
Didn't someone want Agate Grey with a Duck Tail ?

A tad expensive perhaps but not by much. Someone will have that I reckon!

Think that maybe should have been aural!!??? Haha
Haha - It was meant to be subtle but glad it was picked up on! Personally I'm happy with aural or indeed oral pleasure at any speed!
On another note, my wife used to have sticky flaps, I used WD40 and it worked a treat. (RS4... so many little gremlins)!

It's coming for sure - but it's going to be turbo charged so the 991.1 GTS is likely to be the last of the NA 911s, except for GT cars.giles panizzi said:
I can't see anything with reference to the GTS on that link? Am I missing something?Gassing Station | 911/Carrera GT | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
