hi after being out of 911 ownership since selling my 997 gt3 8 years ago now am finally getting back in.
have a 991.2 GTS on the way and finalising the spec, is there anything crucial am missing from below
GTS interior
-10mm ride
Front Axle lift
SportDesignPackage (no ducktail unfort was told the turbo air outlet prohibits this now)
PDK
Cruise
Rain sensor
Park assist
Privacy glass
Light Design
Regular sports seats + heating
Burnmester sound
thanks
I think you'll need the leather package with the GTS interior to give you the interior that is most sought after. The total price for these two is about £4.5k approx. But very much worth it.have a 991.2 GTS on the way and finalising the spec, is there anything crucial am missing from below

Seats are a massive personal preference but I'd be looking at spending the money on the Adaptive/18 ways or Buckets instead!
What colour are you going for ?

I am not sure it has either -10mm as no cost option or -20mm with pdcc as a paid option
With -10mm how essential would you say the lifing nose is?
All the GTS cars come with -20mm Sport PASM as standard. The PDCC comes with Rear Axle Steering (makes it expensive), or you can have RWS on it's own. I will be going for the -10 PASM too, for less grounding and a little more comfort - the handling will still be excellent as the S models have the -10mm.With -10mm how essential would you say the lifing nose is?
Not sure about the lift, anyone have a need for it on their 991,2 cars (with -10 or -20 PASM)?

Ive not needed it on the gt4 which has a stupid ground clearance, nor did I use it once on the gallardo which again is lower than a 991. But I guess someone will come along to say its essential to deal with speed bumps and car parks, again never encountered either of those where I needed front axel lift. Not sure about the lift, anyone have a need for it on their 991,2 cars (with -10 or -20 PASM)?
I drove a 3.0 991 and was suprised how good the engine was,but i just specced up a gts and its £110,000 ....this brings it up against some very serious competition .

that's a shame on the lack of duck tail. Really suits the 991 shape IMO. Burmester sounds the business. Great spec.have a 991.2 GTS on the way and finalising the spec, is there anything crucial am missing from below

Does it though? If you have small kids and need rear seats then the marketplace is very limited - even within Porsche things like GT3 are out

Don't really udnerstand why it has to be like that for the turbo charged engine....the 991.2 Turbo has got a big spoiler on the back!

It's a bit naught of Porsche to charge that amount of money for something that only looks slightly different.Don't really udnerstand why it has to be like that for the turbo charged engine....the 991.2 Turbo has got a big spoiler on the back!

I don't have small kids and don't need rear seats,so yes it's competing against some very desirable machinery.
which ones? the AMG GT is the obvious one and Jag F Type SVR? Agree the AMT GT is very desirable if I wanted people to know Id spent 110k on a car I would prob get the AMG, without sounding too garbled (I hope) the 911 transcends that kind of thinking for me. It helps that its a supremely capable car to boot.dvshannow said:

I struggle to think about what else can compete with the GTS at £110K given its great ability. AMG GT is a good option but F Type isn't even a patch on the 911. I also assume the SVR would be a nightmare with depreciation.....
