991 prices seem a bit all over the shop at the moment. There's a 991 50th Edition up for under £90k in the classifieds from a trade seller which looks very good value if it's real. You'd certainly rather have a 991.1 GTS for £90k rather than one of the myriad 991.2 Carrera S's that OPC's have up for well over £100k! You are certifiable if you buy the latter.

+1

Some of the second hand 991's are priced competing against MP4-12Cs. I know which i'd buy...

in all the advert was live for no more than 4hrs before it was sold.
It seemed to be causing a headache for OPC's as the only genuine interest I had on the car was 3 phonecall's from Porsche group buyers - understandably since i'm sure they need to protect their asset's that are retailing for 95k on the forecourt.

Interesting other thread on lack of 991.2 on the road. New model soon though ? How will this change the market ?

What "new model" are you referring to? The 991.2 has probably got a couple of years left to run.

Next year it's all about the 992 or whatever they call it. In this climate with that dull sound surely it's a hold and wait play more than ever

Joined the GTS club for a little while . I know it's the heavy one with the wrong gearbox , and about as far away from the GT4 I'm coming out of after 10 months and 4000m . But it looks pretty cool IMO and it'll be a change till the next round of GT3's start to come out ...... Can't be many Mexico Blue Targa's out there .

Looks great! I did a similar thing, GT4 to a GTS coupe. Not planned, just saw the car and had to have it - absolutely no regrets!

I don't see a 992 in 2017. I'd guess that post 991.2 GT3 introduction there'd be at least 18 months before a 992 appears. But who knows?!

Like the colour but I would definitely had ordered mint green stitching and GTS on headrests

Nice idea. Unfortunately it wasn't my choice to make, it was specified by Porsche Silverstone - I think they did a pretty good job biggrin

I bought it with delivery miles.

If this video is representative of what the 991.2 GTS will sound like the ultimate GTS "must have" is the Gen 1 NA engine!

Aha then well done the OPC not you wink

I always notice the OPC put the bright cars to be front of the window rather than black / grey / silver everyone buys

Good to hear . Had my fun in the GT4 , great car but lifes short and to many cars to try !

Yours is stunning spec . Exactly what I would have if had the choice . Mexico is my 2nd choice and always fancied a Targa so 2 birds with one stone .

Thanks. I love the car partially for the colour and partially for the spec. It's also a great drive smile

A Mexico GTS Targa is also a pretty special thing. Great looking car.

I'd love a 991.2 GT2 ideally although I'd happily settle for a GT3 (I'll be a very lucky man to get either!!). Bought a GT2 plate a couple of weeks ago in speculation (GT66 TWO).

I like a Black GTS.....mines Targa stylee though I had most options except PDK & PCCBs and I had full extended leather "no Alcantara in here" oh and a set of 50th Anniversary wheels all in all it cost.....a very lot...LOL

I am seriously contemplating a Targa, sold my 991S end of last year and I'm itching again. I've heard some reports about wind noise/buffeting and the extra weight/softer settings diluting the driving experience so would appreciate your thoughts. I am past the stage in life where I won't compromise on performance, this would be my 8th 911 and I can live with something a little softer. Out of interest did you have to twist arms to spec those wheels?

Just picked mine up today . Best looking porsche I've owned . Feels special / different . Seems to get a great reception . Dynamically it's not the GT4 I've just come out of , but it's still a special car just in a different way . Feels like it's going to be a perfect road trip car vs GT4 perfect track car .

Looking forward to the next 5/6 months .
