Great accident to have :-)

Must keep this thread away from the wife.....she might get ideas that such accidents are okay (for her; they are for car-buying chaps, naturally)!

" Accidentally "

I find that odd, people don't " Accidentally " spend £140k unless it was a very good sales man charging a 8.5% PCP and you got suckered in.
I guess you have a cooling off period !
I once found myself in Las Vegas accidentally on a Friday night in August....didn't cost me £140k. Although the opportunity was there... smile

Indeed and cash flow is more important to my business, then losing 7% a year

That would piss me off
I can honestly say, I would not give the slightest fk about that. GT3 is not about trinkets and baubles, it's about a driving experience.

Great looking car OP. You are now a black-belt, second Dan in man-maths.
Surely hashtag was being ironic. I thought it was quite subtle!
I didn't read it as ironic. I read it as genuine - I know someone who says similar about blank buttons etc.

For balance, if I looked in my garage and had Hashtag's collection of cars, THAT would piss me right off. Having a beautiful 991 GT3 wouldn't annoy me in the slightest.

Each to their own. Hashtag can have all the options in his cars and everyone else can get on with it.

Lovely motor OP, fastest color also.

Just jealous that I cant spend £140k on a car without some serious financial planning/sole searching. Bought my 991 from Swindon also and took me weeks to spend even that much!

I feel weak now.............. laugh

Well I noticed it at the 718 launch, and had a nice look, thought nothing of it at the time.

Then I was driving to the dealership on the Friday to buy a 911 and I had a brainwave.....

The conversation went something like this....

"I should, shouldn't I?"

"Yes, yes you should!"

In terms of mileage, the current plan is pick it up from the dealer and take it for a 2700 mile hoon through Portugal, Spain, and France, thought that is not 100% confirmed.

Was that a conversation with yourself or with your significant other? I find that the two sometimes lead to different conclusions....

Excellent car. I've really warmed to the 991 GT3 lately, partly because it actually looks subtle and understated parked next to the RS!

Enjoy the car and don't listen to anyone from the Clubsport gang who seem to think that everyone should buy a road going GT car with a cage, 6 point harnesses, buckets and engine cut out cord - all great options on a track car but not things you tend to worry about on the A49.

Buuurrrrnnn! smile ha.

Fantastic choice, OP. I'd love to be in the position to jump from the used 991's I've been looking at, to a 991 GT3 in one car journey, so fair play to you...I'm impressed!

Yes, yes it is, I justify to myself by telling myself over my time with the car it's going to cost less then my Boxster is going to cost me.......smash

Are you going to get it detailed? Exclusive car care do a great job and are relatively local. They have detailed my last two cars and they looked stunning and have been a lot easier to maintain.
Yes, he did my Golf _ECC7305

However I was thinking of getting ppf on this one, and I'm not sure if he does it......

That is one shiny golf! Justin does PPF - I considered it on my GT4 but decided against. Looking at the stone chips on the car after 1500 miles (inc. big one on the roof - cry) I'm starting to regret not doing it.

Anyway if you decide to pull out of the GT3 purchase let me know and I would happily jump in on that car as it looks stunning.

I had crystal syrum applied to it, and despite not washing it, it never gets that dirty. Not compared to my other cars. I actually think it's well worth it.

This is usually how i treat my cars Dirty pork by Ian Pinder, on Flickr

but the golf never gets that bad!
