I'm currently looking at a mineral grey 2015 125d with red dakota leather. I actually really like the way that it sets off the grey from the outside but can't decide if it's just too much inside and perhaps a bit tacky.

I'm curious to see what other PHers think? The spec and price is perfect but I just don't know if I can live with the seats!!

Cheers
Andy

I like red leather my dads Volvo used to have cranberry leather which was actually very nice, problem is though it takes a brave person to spec if when new.

I do like the sound of the grey with the red leather.

I have just ordered my new car black with red leather. I think it's great and with the contrastive trim and black details it looks great. I would draw the line at a red steering wheel mind you.

Go for it

Bought a Black 4 series with Coral red leather a couple of months ago, was looking for Estoril Blue with Black leather & Coral Red was over my dead body. Then this car came up on our doorstep, absolutely love it now. Currently driving a courtesy car this week whilst a problem with the nav is sorted & I actually miss the red lower dash!

Red is a great interior colour, brings some nice colour to a white/grey/black exterior.
Definitely more interesting than boring black.

I love cars with different coloured leathers.
So much nicer than all the normal colours.

A colleague had a 135i that was black with red leather and it looked incredible. He now has a m135i which is white with red, again looks really good.

I've got a black 335i with blue leather. Not to everyone's taste but I love it because it is different.

I was VERY against Coral red interiors too. Then I when I went to see a blue M135i, they showed me a Glacier Silver one with Coral Red... I loved it! It doesn't photograph well in my opinion. It looks very different in person.

I ended up taking that car wink

Don't have any interior shots but I went for the Coral Red as it was the best match to the grey exterior. There's nothing tacky about red leather even if you do park outside a pound world shop biggrin

My folks used to have a Titan Silver E46 Sport with Coral Red, was a lovely interior imo. So lovely in fact, when the old dear decided to spec up her new 220i, she went for Silver with Coral Red. Looks fantastic imo, definitely more interesting than the Black leather in my 125i.

Personally if I was speccing from new I'd go for Superman Spec - Estoril Blue exterior, Coral Red on the inside.

Don't be put off, it photographs much brighter than it actually is.

I've got it on a Space Grey E93 convertible, and it looks the business. Also looks good with white and silver exterior colours.

I prefer my cars to have either a bright exterior or interior, but not neither or both if you see what I mean.

Grey exterior with red leather works:

On the other hand, my BMW is bright red with black interior.

Another vote in favour of Coral Red.

My current steer....Alpine White with Coral Red Z4....

And previous run-around......118d with Mineral Grey & Coral Red....

I think it does depend on the exterior colour and works best with black, white & grey but I've seen a good few Estoril Blue with Coral Red and that doesn't look too bad either.
