What on earth is undesirable about it?
Graphite Grey is cool though
Grey is safe and appeals to many
If you can't see it I can't explain it, it's just an opinion and as valid as anyone else's Graphite Grey is cool though
Grey is safe and appeals to many
"Grey is cool". I know you have a grey interior but you may be sniffing you own BS there

OP, I am sorry to come in to this conversation like this, and I hop you find a brilliant car. However sometimes st gets out of hand and escalates to this sort of crap!
It seriously irks me that someone would go out of their way to portrait someone as a untrustworthy person.
To summarise; red devil bought dave-364's car

Well as you know the clutch was slipping and unable to cope with the power as it was a standard one, perhaps it never slipped with you
however on the roads I have here I noticed it on my first drive

As I'm sure you remember, you were concerned when you called about it that the clutch had not been done on a 60k car - which is why you then sent me a mail after you'd received the car saying it was an excellent car, pulled strongly and the clutch did NOT slip. A day or two later you mailed me to tell me it did slip, it was obvious and anybody would notice.
Two statements, completely at odds. fredt said:

Sorry if it kept you up all night, if that bothers you then you have little to worry about. What's hard for your worried mind to comprehend? I ask the seller if the clutch is good pre purchase
as are buying blind, he says yes its fine.....I drive the car first time and initially feel something
though put it down to tyre slippage with considerable power and wet roads, next time it test it in
dry roads its a blatant slip, are you still with me ?
And I have no intention of opening up the dispute again, I know what happened, you bloody don't, so
let it stay buried

Well you brought it up, and in quite a stty way. Then when the other side of the story makes you look like a potential knob you want to bury it?And I have no intention of opening up the dispute again, I know what happened, you bloody don't, so

I'll leave it there.

So the seller didn't say it slipped like you previously stated. You are having a real hard time keeping your story straight. The car was purchased on an original clutch at 60k, and had been mapped. You are a moron to think it would be fine. If you 'know' about these cars even more so. Also according to your above statement you noticed the clutch was slipping on your first drive, so you still purchased it knowing it was slipping and now moan about it, and threaten court action! You'd be laughed out of the courtroom more than you are being laughed at right now (by everyone reading this thread). And don't tell me you are even more idiotic and purchased the car prior to a test drive? What's hard for your worried mind to comprehend? I ask the seller if the clutch is good pre purchase

Either way, this example, along with your posts prove you are the idiot who preaches about knowing so very much about these cars, but doesn't know a stock 996T clutch can't handle a map for long. Every statement you make is an attempt to bias people to the cars you are selling. Do you seriously think your rants about how 'everyone loves the grey interior and hates every other colour' is going to have any impact? Possibly on a blind man.... or how modified cars sell for more?
I'd love to know what name you sell under, so I can make sure every person I meet avoids you like the plague. Equally I have sympathies for anyone who has to deal with you.

Sparky, I think you need to amend the motto to "reputation is everything...and everything we do is to further ruin that reputation"
It's an intriguing business model (to purposely try and ps off potential customers), and I'd love to know the theory behind it please?

Muppet, the previous owner did 30k on his original clutch with the map. We just had a 6T mapped today and it handles it fine, so
you know jack st.......And as stated numerous times, my car is not for sale, you people cannot read.

The public are even worse online than in the flesh, at least you get the opportunity to slap them in person.

His "I am a driving god" arrogant hard man persona can be irritating, but that red 996 turbo is a great advert, lots of detail with superb pictures, other dealers could learn from that, credit where its due
shame its not for sale
and there is some hyperbole/subjective nonsense which is unnecessary:
"always ran on Shell V Power 99 Ron fuel" - really? you were present every time it was filled up, and that the car existed before v power did?
"a very distinctive shade of Red which is a far superior prospect to the Silver, Black and Blue shades that are common to the model" not for most, which is why red is so rare
