I'm finding more & more sites that just don't work properly with Firefox. Tonight it was Qatar Airways & Vitality Health: both of them have issues where menus & content aren't displayed at all, let alone properly. Both sites work perfectly in Chrome.

I really don't want to dump Firefox as I like the flexibility Extensions gives me but it's just become complete rubbish.

Mozilla don't make the extensions or the websites, either of which is very likely the problem rather than Firefox ..

It could be an extension that's causing the problems too.

Qatar Airways web page seems to take forever to open for me, even when other pages are open in a flash. That is on Firefox too.

Tried the Qatar Airways site on my Chromebase and it works fine, extension or browser causing it.

Qatar page opens fine and all menu items appear to work.
Not certain exactly which googled link is Vitality Health so didn't try.

WinXP
Version 46.0.1
AdBlock, uBlock, Citrix screen sharing + UK spell check.

The only problems I generally experience are closed tabs not returning memory to the heap, eventually causing a crash, or poor performance forcing me to cause a crash.
Suspect I should blame myself for having 9 browser windows and anything up to 50 tabs in a couple of them.

Now that I've said that; I just know all Hell will break loose. banghead

I've had problems with the RBS online banking page on Firefox for months now.

Works fine in other browsers.

Interesting, I've noticed this at work and when I copy and paste the URL into Chrome it works fine. Thought it was just one of the add blockers but maybe not, I run the same on both browsers but obviously they can still play up on one.

Very frustrating because some sites I need to use have Java which I can't use on Chrome.

I think I'll set up a VM test machine with vanilla FF next week and see what happens on the problem sites.
