Anybody know why this has switched from Eurosport to Quest? Coverage is the same but there is no HD option now.

Andy, I think this was just due to a tennis tournament which clashed and Eurosport put first over the weekend, moving WSB on to Quest, I hope that's the case anyway!!

French Open tennis (which I can partially understand) and Tour of Italy cycling (which I cannot understand at all) taking priority Live all weekend on both Eurosport channels.
So British Eurosport couldn't be bothered to cover the British round of WSB at Donnington which frankly I find amazing.
I did complain as did others to Eurosport on twitter - they made no comment of course - its not like we pay... oh yes right we actually do, British Eurosport isn't a free to air channel, seems the owners of the channel forgot this.

Have to agree the picture quality of the races is like some old Duke racing VHS video recording

Looking forward again to this weekends HD action on BT Sport for moto gp.

Agree the picture quality was severely lacking, luckily I went to Donnington Sunday to see it for real :-) However I was genuinely shocked by how empty the place was.. so perhaps Eurosport are right in their priorities, I personally think bike racing is the best its been for years right now, and should be attracting new fans left right and centre, but if I went purely on Sundays showing I'd have to conclude I'm completely wrong!

Be interesting to know crowd figures - it looked proper empty on TV. Like you say with Brits dominating it should be attracting loads of new fans but it's not, it's dying a death. I don't think spreading it out over two days has done it any favours whatsover.

If they want to increase the weekend figure they should allow the organisers to package it with a local Superbike round (British, French, Italian, Spanish etc) and run one on one day and the other on the other day. I think they should get WSB going on a Saturday to allow it to eventually be incorporated into the MotoGP weekend if the slide in interest continues. It cannot stand on it's own feet at the moment.

Be curious to see whether there's a round at Donington next year - Dorna will have to seriously discount the hosting fee I would have thought. Certainly no-one (Brands Hatch certainly) wanted to pick up a round on the cheap when Monza failed to homolgate some safety issues.
