Vantage Rear Reflectors

Hi,

I am in the process of changing the original red lights for a set of clear lights as one of the red ones had failed and it encouraged me to upgrade to clear....

Has anyone removed or replaced the red reflectors on the bumper and if so, can you share with me, please.

Are these required to pass an MOT?

I noticed that a company in the US were offering a "clear kit" but this included the side lights which European cars do not have and no information on changing just the reflectors out.

I looked into the same issue some time ago and found the red reflectors are required for mot as there are none built into the rear lights.I suppose you could fit the clear and swap over for mot but if you are parked up at the road side and someone runs into the back of you in the dark it may then become an issue.

Red reflector is required for an MoT.
But you can buy stick on ones to pass an MoT - thats how the majority of motorbikes get through their MoT's
