For sale in Scotland looks nice to me and very clean. Very far away to pop over to look at for me...

Its a comfort model so not sure if that affects the value compared to a bucket seat car ?

The Red Devil (poster on this forum) is the seller, but as to the car, I cannot help!

I'm well out of the loop I guess, but IMO for 100k plus mileage CS that's silly money. Great cars but seriously that to me is madness. A proper CS should have the race seats at least. It may as well be classed as a Sport.

Thanks for that, I can't find the profile for The Ted Devil? Is it possible to ad a link?

Many thanks. I am thinking that its a little expensive due to being a comfort car. i think at 25k it would have sold but with 100k miles and no buckets its not as desirable as it could be although looks very clean.

If anyone knows anything about it would be appreciated.

With those miles, the stone chips, the road rash and the driver seat bolster wear, looks significantly over priced to me.

Comfort seats were an option on the CS, but they include rear seats which that hasn't got, yet it has electric windows, so one might see if central locking too, and as it hasn't the remote boot release in the n/s aperture it is looking like it is potentially a Sport with a rear seat delete. The e/windows and c/locking, e/mirrors and boot release plus comfort trim are all that distinguish a Sport from a CS anyway, and the few that have suddenly appeared on ebay etc show quite a price leap. It could have these options, which will be on the boot floor sticker and in the service book.

I think I better look into getting my Sport done ha

The car would be ace with red hard back sport seats but guess that's how it came out of the factory which is even cooler IMO.
I had 968CS with comfort seats which cancelled out the harsh ride.
Great cars Really quick , look amazing and lots of Kudos.
As with any classic porsche manual Check the clutch isn't heavy or slipping and you'll have a nice car.

It may not have the most desirable spec, but it is still a Clubsport and the miles are a lot lower than most, and the condition looks beautiful. If this is all original it looks like a really lovely car in a fantastic colour combination. At the end of the day the market will decide if it's worth the asking price.

Yes agreed, it does look lovely and previous owner for 18 years too so nice provenance.

If it wasn't a comfort model it would have been sold by now I am sure. In truth a comfort spec probably makes more sense in a car like this compared to something like my GT4.

Its come down 2k already...

That means the phone hasn't rung on it...if the phone starts ringing the price goes up....not my words.

Except it's not. A CS with electric windows and comfort seats may be a CS in name but it's closer to a Sport or Coupe in character.

And to think, I sold my Sport in 2013 for £5,700.

As indicated above it would be advisable for any serious buyer to do their research on "Buchanan Motors" before viewing.

Reading that thread it would seem "username" paid under £14k for a red Sport with cloth seats and around 100k on it ?

Except it's not.

So are you saying that this is not a Clubsport ?

If it's a CS with cloth seats and electrics then you'd might as well buy a Sport or Coupe and save a huge chunk of cash.

laugh I've been saying similar for years, and the likes of you and Wozy took exception to it. The Coupe isn't the same car though...

I know all this but are you saying that this car that is advertised as a Clubsport is not a Clubsport?
