Probably fed up with time wasters.
That would be my guess. Though when I was last selling a high value 911 I had several decent indies bidding against each other, plus Sytner and Stratstone. The indies were prepared to pay most.Edited by 13m on Saturday 23 July 09:34

thing is a GTS is nothing like a GT3 just like my R is nothing like my GT4 and why I run both.
So while 997.2 GT3 are £115k that has no effect on 997.2 GTS prices imo.
esp when the 997.2 C2S is a very good car but again none for sale in manual and low miles !
yes they are selling at £70k now for ultra low miles, but £65k would be my personal top end, but then I have a R and a GT4 so the value in a swap to a GTS is nothing for me esp above £70k prices.
I love the 997.2 GTS though, a great car and the perfect sweet spot for many, the engine, the steering and the lower in gear speeds has a GTS licked over a GT3 for road use.
for track the GTS has no adjustments so it would have to be a project for any track day driver and then you might as well buy a 997.1 GT3.
some choice mods on a 997.2 GTS though could be one of Porsches best cars in the last 10 years for a drivers road car.
the R is my all time fave car from 65 cars I have owned and only 100 UK manuals, the 997 GTS is only about 85 manuals so 2 very rare driver focused road cars which many will never get the chance of trying/buying.
Absolutely, I had a 996.2 GT3 and loved it but didn't find much time to use it. I use my GTS just about every day.So while 997.2 GT3 are £115k that has no effect on 997.2 GTS prices imo.

Too many people don't want a private car at that price level, just the odd astute buyer.
Agreed but that doesn't explain why he wasn't responding.I had a look at their black PDK with Carrera Sport wheels. A bit leggy but a nice looking car - as all the GTS cars are.
I dropped my car off at 911Virgin this morning.
24k, 2 owners, new front discs and pads 3 weeks ago, new tyres 2 weeks ago and a full service, plugs and brake fluid last Friday. Its obviously the wrong spec so none of you will want it being a GTS4, plastic dash and PDK. On the plus side its exception condition, all the work is done for 2 years, it has a nice spec with aerokit and had Gtechniq Crystal Serum Black applied just over 12 months ago.
Lovely car and nothing wrong with it all.
Hope someone gets it and enjoys it as much as I have for the last 19 months.
Regards
Fred

Don't tar us all with the same brush.
Haha, I'm only hoping I can manage my new car. After "putting up" with the wrong spec for so long!I'm only kidding chaps, these cars are all brilliant.

Fred
What are you changing it for ?
So earlier this week we had the pleasure of seeing the Hexagon ultra low mileage manual GTS which was recently sold for £75k!!!
Our customer bought it with just 4,000 miles on the clock. And yes it has the plastic dash but the owner didn't seem too disappointed...
So it's now got the Sharkwerks exhaust bypass pipe fitted and the new soundtrack is so much better than the far too quiet PSE on the 997.2 cars.
Some pics of his and mine....

Your car is looking good Chris although they both look far too clean!! Any more mods planned?
I think I might be banished from the GTS club as mine has now clocked over 50k miles after a 2k mile trip through France and Spain.....and it's obviously too dirty!
Still sorely tempted by a Sport Classic rear deck lid / ducktail....Other than that I love the car with the mods I've done as it now sounds, looks and feels so much better than OE. I see you've also fitted a set of Cup 2's - Great tyres!I think I might be banished from the GTS club as mine has now clocked over 50k miles after a 2k mile trip through France and Spain.....and it's obviously too dirty!
Off on holiday tomorrow touring around France but unfortunately with wife, 2 boys and luggage the X5 will be used! Hoping to get over to the Nurburgring again soon with the GTS.
Great to see that the owner of the £75k car is using it as god intended. RPM tweeted a picture of a GTS with ducktail this morning....

I wonder if this car on eBay is real
15k mile manual coupe for £60k in PTS Ipanema Blue...also known as "Le Panama" Blue apparently! It's a Carrera 4 but cheap if it's real me thinks.
