I wonder if this car on eBay is real

15k mile manual coupe for £60k in PTS Ipanema Blue...also known as "Le Panama" Blue apparently! It's a Carrera 4 but cheap if it's real me thinks.

Each to their own and all that but what an awful colour and terrible add...!
I don't dislike the colour. Ad is shocking.

That was retailed new by Bristol OPC.

They do seem to buying up lots of the GTS and are manipulating the used values. Good news for current owners.

Forthcoming relocation to a mouse and bat ridden farm in Herefordshire means I'm having to consider parting with my white manual GTS2.

Rather not though.

Bugger.

23k miles, SSK, centrelocks, full leather (everything's leather; dash, whole centre console, door tops etc.), white dials, clear rear lenses, silver seat belts, Porsche crest in head rest, BOSE, heated seats, OPC warranty until April 17. Not sure of price to be honest, or for that matter if I can bring myself to do it.

Put a Carcoon in one of the sheds/barns?

Get a cat.

You'll have to put up with the bats as they're protected.

But people are....

We've recently had two 997.2 GTS' in for Sharkwerks bypass pipes that the new owners paid £72k and £75k for. One was the ex-Hexagon car with ultra low mileage.

Hexagon do seem to be buying the GTS stock and asking the highest prices. Every GTS 911V get they well very quickly usually within a week and they're prices are creeping up to £65k. The fact that lots of us who bought nice spec used GTS' for circa £60k in the last 3 years and they are still worth the same (or a little more) is great for ownership but where do you go next if you sell to improve on what you have....?

My ideal is a 997.2 GT3 but are they really +£40k better? more usable? more fun? I doubt it and for me the gap is too large for the difference so the GTS stays.

I'm sad to say that my 997 4GTS will be on the market very soon, I'll be keeping an eye on what happens with those Hexagon cars to give an indication if mine will sell quickly

In a shocking development Hexagon have added it to their ever expanding collection of GTS's

Just the £15k increase in price...

That's the spirit! What am I thinking?

Like the bats (and swallows) in the barn. Not quite so keen on the mice in the roof space.

I've had a 997 GTS and agree they are great cars but not at £70K+. That's verging on 997.1 GT3 money.

What are opinions on what 991 GTS values will do over next 12 months? I see low spec cars with no leather / GTS pack are hanging about unless cheap.
Black 7000 car for sale at Silverleaf for under 92k and its not shifting. I was offered that car via a Porsche centre for 95k. 1 owner and a nice car but the plastic interior is a killer for me and I think a lot of others too.

Reminds me of other company up near high Wycombe (not naming them). Who charge extortionate prices for Ferraris, and try pricing them up and up each time they are selling
