Wow. Its been a while since ive posted here.

My bmw e36 328i sport could do with a little T.L.C. nothing major im just trying to preserve it.
It needs a new rear arch not urgent and I have a few other jobs I would like to be done just me being picky.

If you can recommend me some good decent sprayers with attention to detail and passion then please forward or give opinions.

I Live in London surrey areas but can travel a little if needed.

Thanks in advance.

These people nr Gillingham have an unrivalled reputation and have plenty of recommendations. (I'd use them and I live in the Scottish Highlands!)

County Coachworks in Kingston-Upon-Thames tick the passion, care and expertise boxes. They work on all sorts of projects, from restoring old 911s through to repairing modern Maseratis.

Don't expect a shiny marble palace and good coffee though. wink

Im off in a couple of weeks so will take the car to a couple of those listed and get a few quotes. Any imperfections on the car I want sorted. Owned it for 10yrs plus now and its in amazing condition for its age so just keeping on top of it. Needs a little welding underneath which is surface corrosion. new rear arch, some light scratches around some panels. 2 little dents 5p size. I have a rear GT spoiler I want painted and fitted. A little rust starting to show on tailgate on corner.

Sounds a lot but you wouldn't notice. With all that mentioned what sort of price would I be looking at ? prepared to pay for a top notch job.

Does £1900 sound about right for a new rear arch cut out and weld. Spray and fit new spoiler. Paint both front doors, wings and quarters and bonnet. No sunroof or bumpers ? Not including VAt

sorry to bump this olf thread. well the last time I used the bmw e36 was when I went to get the above quote. I was trying to book the car in for several months but they was always to busy to take it in.

Really want it done now as summer is coming and want to enjoy the car.

Does the above quote sound alright ?

Ok. That doesn't include vat though. Think I will go with it and be done.

I would recommend Dave at Weald Coachworks near Sevenoaks. 01732 463428
He has just finished rot removal on my E39.
2 new rear wheel arches.
Rot around the boot lock
Rot on the small panel below the boot lid
Rot on a roof strip.
Rot around the fuel filler cap.
Removing several nasty scratches on boot boot and bonnet.
He has done a great job, can't see the join
Awkward colour to match too, Techno Violet.

Won't quote the price because I got a very good deal, but it was considerably less than your quote.
