@abidr500, hahah I wish it was like that mate.

I've been through pretty much every video on youtube, magazine article possible on the 997.1 gt3. Strange to most of you probably, I didn't even go for a test drive. I find them a bit pointless for myself as I have no experience with this type of car, so have no clue what to look out for. However I did listen to the engine, all sounded great with my novice ears! So I am a real 911 Virgin, knowing tomorrow is the big day biggrin

Congratulations biggrin

They are truly fantastic cars, what spec have you gone for? Buckets or comfort seats?

I've gone for the comfort seats. It also has seat belts added to the back, so next on my list is a seat that will fit a 9month old. Any ideas? I told the wife it will carry all 3 of us hahah, fingers crossed.

If you have comfort seats, they have isofix so you can get a baby seat in the front (rear facing and turn the passenger airbag off)

Not sure about a baby seat in the back but if you do a search on here i'm sure you will find some threads covering the topic.

It will sound like a bag of spanners on cold starting.
It will sometimes blow smoke from the exhaust.
The gearbox is notchy until it warms up.
But it is all part of its character.
You will love it

I used a maxi cosi cabriofix. smile The front passenger loses a bit of legroom though.

Enjoy! driving

Yes well spotted dopsonj! The old owner of the gt3 is a car mad chap, and really nice guy. He races the rs, it's completely stripped, his collection is amazing.... One day haha
