Where to find wholesale buyers? (Bathroom accessories)

Wasn't too sure where to post this, but hopefully I'm in the right place!

Cut a long story short, a close friend has a barn full of bathroom accessories (think shower curtains, tooth/toilet brush holders, soap dishes, handwash bottles, some specialist disabled shower screens etc) from a sadly deceased relative. I believe the relative used to import the items from China and then sell on via a website/eBay.

My friend needs to sell it to help pay for the funeral costs etc, but is unsure how to go about it. There are over 200 boxes of items, so ideally needs to be a wholesaler of some description. It's all located in Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire.

Can anyone provide me with any contacts/pointers as to who may be interested in purchasing such stock? To be honest he's struggling a bit and I'm trying to help him as much as I can.

Have you searched for an Industrial Auctioneer locally?

Usually they sell off remaining stock from liquidated businesses, they might be able to help your mate out (obviously taking a slice of the money made).

I'm also not an expert especially in terms of English law but has the deceased assets been valued yet as part of the tax process? Are these items your mates to sell?

I think he wants to stay away from auctions as they'll take a huge chunk in commission, but I will still put it to him.
