I carry one in the boot but it's split in no-time at all, they all seem a fit flimsy, anyone a recommendation for a good one?

The thing we have is similar to the one below

When we're away the boot is packed tight, it's easy just to shove into a corner. Also used when we're out walking in case we don't find a suitable steam.

Just bought 2 road refreshers for the car crate, they are brilliant - think they were on Dragons Den. Can fill them up and none ever gets spilled.

You could use an empty (clean) ice cream tub bottom and a bottle of tap water.

I've got one thanks. biggrin looks more substantial than the old broken jobbie.

I still travel with a couple of bowls, but packed away until we get to our destination.

These gadgets are great to wedge into a corner, we've a small boot so every inch counts. The shape of the bowl means more water in dog and less chucked away, they also go with us on walks etc.

These are brilliant:

They fold completely flat, so you can just shove them in any little space in the car. And they're made of a flexible material so they don't split.
