Can the lucky ones who have already taken delivery of their new Boxster tell me the tyres fitted please?

I'm getting a basic Boxster with 19" wheels. Hoping for Michelin's.

Road roar on coarse motorway surfaces on my 981 S (19" wheels) is dreadful on Pirelli Pzeros (N0) AND Pirelli Pzeros N1 (as fitted to 718). I didn't drive the 718 I had for the day (pirelli pzero N1) on motorways, so can't say whether it is as bad as the 981. To put it in context at motorway speeds on coarse concrete tyre roar is by some margin the loudest noise drowning all others and making listening to the radio or speaking to a passenger in normal tones difficult.

I drove a 718 Boxster on the motorway and I didn't notice any tyre noise.

It's VERY surface sensitive. If you didn't notice it you were lucky - you'd see it on any typical long motorway journey I've been on.

Fortunately there aren't many concrete motorway surfaces near me. It is something I thought about as the dealer and I discussed noise at speed. Then again maybe my Michelin pilot super sports on the current car are just noisier.
