Oilpro - anyone?

I'm not in the O&G industry myself, but have done work for a few such companies in an IT capacity over the last few years. I've had a couple of invitations to sign up to oilpro.com - looks like another LinkedIn type thing. Does anyone use it? Worth signing up to even though I'm not really in the industry?

LinkedIn seems to have just turned into another Facebook, and I'm reluctant to sign up to too much stuff if there's no benefit to me and I'm no benefit to other users.
