Burghley 2016 - Video & Andy Palmer chat.
Discussion
Given the remarkable effort by Ed50 in putting together such a fabulous weekend back in July below is a link to a short video memento of the day that we had promised to produce.
The video is based around a chat with Andy Palmer who was enjoying the day as much as any of us. [Extra Q&A at the end for true Aston geeks on his first 18 months at Aston, Gearboxes and Rapide's!]
Thanks once again to Ed and to everyone who helped raise the staggering £46k for charity

Great video. Thank you.
I've been fortunate enough to have a brief moment or two of Andy Palmer's time at a dealer launch. He was very approachable and keen to listen to what his customers think. It seemed to me that he has a genuine passion for the brand. I think that this essential quality along with his obvious business acumen bodes very well for AM. I just hope he gets the continued shareholder backing he so richly deserves. I am sure that he will.

Agree with your sentiments James and I think you need only see the twinkle in his eye when he starts talking about his classic V8 Vantage to see the enthusiasm; he's a lot like us It seemed to me that he has a genuine passion for the brand.
Thanks for the other positive comments chaps on what was a very quickly produced vid
Thank you for posting Dewi.
Excellent video, and I very much I enjoyed watching.
I did notice the 'quick fire' very short duration, excitement shots at the beginning. I know that I am rather old fashioned with this modern film/edit technique, but about 10 seconds per shot gives me time to study each individual scene.

Spot! But 'twas only a 'Nis'. Anyway Astons aren't fazed by a Micra or a Juke - not even a Nis(mo)
HahaTrying to match forum names to real life people...
I believe my wife and I sat on the same table at the dinner the night before Burghley before retiring to the courtyard to finish our drinks!

I liked that bit as my dog features at 30 sec in! Apart from that it's a good enjoyable interview. Thanks for posting. Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
