Wealth management firms in Leeds or Manchester
Discussion
We're looking at working out a plan within the next few months taking in our investment and tax situation and financial affairs in general. Can anyone recommend a wealth management firm in ideally Leeds or alternatively Manchester who would be able to help with this?
I've done some research and come up with Brown & Shipley, Investec and Close Brothers so far. TBH we'd rather use a decent size established firm rather that a one-man band setup as we'd feel more secure with them. Also we'd like to be able to meet face-to-face hence the need to be localish.
Thanks

Rough idea of the value of assets you're talking about?
There are minimums for many of the bigger players these days.
Just revisiting this thread - do you work for a relevant firm yourself? I noticed a post of yours elsewhere where you mention that you're in private banking. There are minimums for many of the bigger players these days.
Let me know if you don't find what your looking for from the existing suggestions. I work with many of the quality firms in the NE and NW so would be happy to put you in touch with a couple. Ideally I would need to know a bit more about your circumstances to confidently point you in the right direction.
You could try these guys http://www.lawfm.co.uk/
It's not a fancy website but they have always done well for me. They can invest money for you, advise on best practice to manage your money/assets and are independent.
PM me if you want any other info.
